2012-05-13-0830 Pastor Loran Livingston is the speaker this morning May 13th 2012 in the 8:30 service.Scripture: Acts 10:1-4; Hebrews 6:10Topic: ObedienceNotes:- Nervous breakdown in 1991; obeyed the  Lord to give cleaning lady $$ and was healed- No matter how distant from God, obey and a blessing will come your way- Everything you do for His namesake becomes a memorial in your name- God’s men sometimes find themselves in a hole, wandering why God won’t work, but they continue in obedience- The quickest way out of depression and defeat is to do something for somebody else- If you want everything you need in life, start meeting someone else’s need- If God speaks to you to give to someone, it’s not your responsibility to figure out what they’re going to do with it; the same God speaks to me that watches over her- God uses somebody that doesn’t feel it to help somebody who doesn’t have it- Jesus went about doing good; do kind acts- Our faith needs to be more practical than our mouths have been; we’re known too much for preaching but ought to be known for living it- Story of young pastor working full time job with two paraplegic children...- When adversity is choking the life out of us, we walk in faith- You don’t have to be on top of the world to minister to the world- We are designed to give; when we keep it we wither and become self-centered- We don’t need more sermons but encouragement; God understands when we get mad at Him or question Him; He won’t let go of you, give up on you or get angry with you; He is going to help you
