Notes:- God delights in mercy; subdues our sin, throws them to depths of the sea- He does not deal with us according to our sins- I am not my own.  I owe him everything, though I cannot pay Him back- I died with Jesus and am a new creation; there is a life to be lived, without reservation- Rasputin taught that the more you sin, the more God’s grace will be upon you- You cannot live a life opposed to the righteousness of God and expect His blessing- We were buried and raised with Christ and should walk in the newness of life- Sanctification: the continuous operation of the Holy Spirit to make me holy- I should be more offended by the sin of this world; I should not get used to it- Jesus does not forgive sin, but sinners... makes me want to live a life worthy of Him- A believer prays, reads, and obeys scripture, loves and worships God, is truthful, goes to church, invests in eternal things- A believer does not abuse or live a lifestyle of lust- You are only saved if you put total trust in Christ; you are a new creation
