I will not conquer it- One who is poor in spirit does not try to prove himself; we are nothing.  Quit pretending and trying to impress.  Recognize your flaws; you’re not fooling anyone.- Story of ice cream... same as any addiction, it controls you.- The poor in spirit are the least judgmental, compassionate.- Rest in your salvation; throw yourself at the mercy of the court- You get to heaven by trusting in the Lord with all your heart- Thief on cross, woman caught in adultery... no repentance but Jesus forgave- Woman who cried at Jesus feet and dried his feet with her hair... an approach to Jesus without pretense that cries “help me,” he never rejects- When you trust, you do not fear; there is no fear in love
