2013-03-03-1030 Pastor Loran Livingston is the speaker this morning March 3rd, 2013 in the 10:30 service.Scripture: Hebrews 11:8-10, 13; Ephesians 1:3Topic: HopeNotes:- Everything in this world is a lie; gov’t, education, many churches.- One deception is that life is for the here and now- Much preaching is preparing people to stay- True faith doesn’t expect its reward in this life; the real reward comes afterwards- Abraham died in faith.- We will not impact the world for Christ until our hearts are in heaven- Do you long to be in His presence?  Am I settled here?- I don’t need to worry about what I have, will get, or need.  Jesus alone can satisfy- You don’t come to Christ so He will feed you, provide for or heal, but so He can save you, fill you up... He owns you and must be approached as savior.- When your mind and heart are in heaven, loss does not frighten you- The aroma of the sacrifice, of obedience, the priest spattered in blood... the priest’s blessing meant something because he waited and obeyed- When all we want is Jesus, we will begin to see real, identifiable blessings- There is a kingdom coming; we should be after His kingdom, not things for ourselves
