2013-07-07-0830 Pastor Evan Albertyn is the speaker this morning July 7th, 2013 in the 8:30 service.Scripture: Ephesians 2:4-7; 2nd Peter 3:18; Jonah 2:5-7Topic: GraceNotes:- The grace of God is so big and beautiful.- It is by grace that we have been saved.- Grace saves us; transforms us; frees us.- Grace is a relationship. In Jonah 2:5 it shows that Jonah was in a dark place. He was in the belly of a fish.- Sometimes grace is in a dark place; not always in comfort, beauty or rest.- Three things Grace does:- Grace saves us – when we sin or mess up we know we have God’s pardon through the Grace of Jesus Christ.- Grace transforms us – We live in grace. We can do nothing to earn God’s Grace. Grace is from God and is a gift of God.- Grace sets us free – The Lord ordered the whale to spit up Jonah. Grace frees us from the past: The guilt we carry around – the shame.- Where we have been is not important; as to we here we are going – Every new day is a new beginning.
