Chicken Soap for the Soul with Elisabeth Dermot Walsh and Special Guest Wendi Peters
On this week’s episode of Chicken Soap for the Soul, we are so happy to be joined by the irrepressible Wendi Peters. Known and loved by many for her portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, she also appeared in BBC Doctors as Dr Nina Bulsara and of course in countless other productions, both on TV and on stage.
Elisabeth and Wendi talk about being shouted at in the street, the stress of participating on Master Chef, jumping out of helicopters, Wendi’s love for musical theatre and about how hard it actually is to sing off-key.
Wendi is currently on stage in Glorious! as Florence Foster Jenkins, the American Socialite who was dubbed ‘the worst singer in the world’.
You can still see Wendi at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester until the 30th of March. For tickets, click here.
