Happy Holy Week, guys! This week before we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter is a special time in the Church. So often, we get distracted by holiday plans and preparation that we let the week go by without reflecting on the magnitude of what really happened 2,000+ years ago. So that’s what I’m going to focus on over the next two weeks—the passion, death and resurrection of our God.
I’m going to be honest, this was a tough talk for me to write, and it might be tough for you to hear. But that’s what this week is all about. Sit in those feelings and let the events that took place have that impact on you. Be there with Jesus this Holy Week in the garden, in the praetorium, on the cross, and in the tomb. Let yourself be moved and affected by the story of our Lord’s passion, death, and resurrection. And remember, He is with you in your trials and suffering, and He did this all out of love for YOU. No matter your past, your present, your triumphs, your failings, your wounds—Jesus loves you so much that He died for YOU.
And as always, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to our YouTube channel so that you never miss an episode of the Chris Stefanick Show!
Thanks to Bishop Barron for the insight about all the world’s evils converging on Jesus, and to Fr. Benedict Groeschel for the insight about Jesus feeling abandoned so we wouldn’t have to feel that way alone.

What if your greatest weakness could become your greatest witness?
In this powerful, funny, and deeply moving conversation, I sit down with Fr. Augustine Wetta — a Benedictine monk, author, and high school chaplain — who’s living with early onset Parkinson’s. Doctors told him he’d be “non-functional” by now… but he’s still preaching, writing, and cracking jokes.
We talk about everything from gangland L.A. and illegal fireworks to mortality, monastic life, and what it really means to suffer with Christ. If you’ve ever struggled with fear, anxiety, or questions about suffering and purpose, this one’s for you.

We live in a world that’s quick to judge, slow to forgive, and obsessed with keeping score. But here’s the real question: What if mercy was the key to true strength, freedom, and victory?
Guys, I am so pumped for this episode because I’m sitting down with Fr. Ken Geraci, who wrote an incredible book on Divine Mercy and Spiritual Warfare. And let me tell you—this conversation is going to shake you up in the best way possible. One of the biggest lies we buy into is that mercy is weakness—that if we let go of our anger, we’re letting people off the hook. But Scripture and the saints show us something radical: mercy is power. It’s the way we win the battle in our own hearts and the world around us. In this episode, we’re diving into:
Why mercy isn’t optional—it’s the key to true strength
⚡ How the Catechism (675-677) prophesies the end times where mercy is the dividing line
The hidden connection between unforgiveness and spiritual warfare
Why refusing to show mercy actually makes us prisoners to our own wounds
✝️ How Jesus’ call to “love your enemies” is the ultimate battle strategy
I can’t wait for you to hear this because mercy isn’t just something we receive—it’s something we’re called to give. And when we do, it changes EVERYTHING. If you’ve ever struggled to forgive, if you’ve ever felt weighed down by resentment, if you want to be free—this episode is for you. Watch now, and let’s talk about why the Church is still worth fighting for.

It’s no secret—within the Church we encounter many problems: scandals, division, human failure. If you’ve ever felt frustrated or even disillusioned, you’re not alone. A lot of people look at the mess and think, why stay?
In this episode, I sit down with Monsignor James Shea to break down what so many people get wrong about the Church’s struggles—and why the mess isn’t a reason to leave, but actually a reason to stay. Too often, we expect the Church to be perfect, but from the very beginning, it never was. One of Jesus’ own apostles betrayed Him—and yet, Christ still chose to build His Church on imperfect people, just like us.
We’re diving into some powerful and eye-opening topics, including:
Why people expect the Church to be perfect—and why that expectation will always lead to disappointment.
⚡ The biggest mistakes people make when trying to “fix” the Church—and how misguided solutions can actually make things worse.
The shocking way God heals corruption—through saints as the Church’s immune system—and how He raises up holy men and women to bring renewal in every generation.
Why utopian thinking leads to frustration, disillusionment, and even despair—and how we can shift our mindset to see the Church as Christ intended.
✝️ The powerful reason Jesus chose to build His Church on flawed, broken people—and how that should change the way we approach our faith.
Here’s the truth: The Church has never been perfect, not even in the time of the apostles. But history proves that when things look the darkest, God raises up saints to fight back. The scandals and struggles of today are real—but they’re not the end of the story.
If you’ve ever wrestled with doubt, discouragement, or disappointment in the Church, this episode is for you. Because the answer isn’t to run—the answer is to become part of the renewal. Holiness is the antidote. And maybe, just maybe, God is calling YOU to be one of the saints this generation desperately needs.
Watch now, and let’s talk about why the Church is still worth fighting for.

Today, we’re diving deep into the eternal reality of Heaven and Hell. But this isn't just a discussion about what the Bible says. We’re bringing you the real-life experiences of those who have crossed over to the other side and returned to tell their stories. I sit down with John Burke, who’s interviewed over 1,500 people who have had near-death experiences. These are real accounts that will challenge your thinking and open your eyes to the truth of eternity. From the overwhelming beauty of Heaven to the shocking, heartbreaking reality of Hell, these stories will shake you to your core.
In this episode, we’ll cover:
What Heaven is REALLY like – It’s not just a fairy tale, it’s a real place filled with light, love, and unimaginable beauty.
The reality of Hell – It’s not a metaphor. Hear the shocking, real stories from those who’ve witnessed its terrifying darkness.
Life After Death – What happens when you die? What do we learn from near-death survivors about the other side?
God’s Mercy and Justice – How even those who don’t know Him are encountering His love in powerful, life-changing ways.
This episode is not just about the afterlife—it’s about how what we do here and now affects our eternity. The choices we make matter more than we can imagine, and God’s mercy is more real than we could ever fathom.

SPECIAL THANKS TO CORPORATE TRAVEL, PRODUCERS OF THE GOOD NEWS CONFERENCE FOR MAKING THIS INTERVIEW POSSIBLE!
www.goodnewsconference.com What if your biggest struggles—your addictions, your need for control, even your mindless Instagram scrolling—aren’t just bad habits, but actually trauma responses to your own sorrowful mysteries? And what if God isn’t just asking you to push through, but actually wants to heal you?
In this episode of The Chris Stefanick Show, I sit down with Sister Miriam James Heidland, a former Division I athlete who battled addiction and deep wounds before one encounter with a Catholic priest completely changed her life. Now, as a leader with the John Paul II Healing Center, she helps people step into the deep healing and transformation that God desires for all of us.
We’re breaking down some BIG ideas, including:
Healing isn’t just for “broken” people—it’s for EVERYONE (yes, even you).
Why we keep running from our pain—and how God invites us to stop.
What our addictions are REALLY covering up (spoiler: it’s deeper than willpower).
How Jesus—who carried His own wounds—teaches us what true freedom looks like.
And, of course… how I ended up crying (again).
This is more than just a conversation—it’s a call to look at your own life in a new way. If you’ve ever felt like your past disqualifies you or that healing is for other people, this episode is here to remind you:God is still working on you. And He isn’t done yet.
Watch now and take the first step into the healing God has for you!

Please note: we’re not talking about clinical anxiety and depression which can be a cross that makes you SAINT (insert your name here). That’s not all attributable to “lack of faith,” and may need treatment by professionals. We’re talking about the spiritual root causes of what seems to be a tsunami of mental health issues.
What’s wrong with young people today? The mental health crisis is skyrocketing—depression, anxiety, confusion about identity… But maybe, just maybe, the problem isn’t just what we see on the surface. Maybe these young people are a "canary in the coal mine," revealing something toxic in our entire culture. Could it be that young people are simply more sensitive to the emptiness of a worldview stripped of God, objective truth, and the transcendent? What if the real problem is a spiritual one?
On this episode of The Chris Stefanick Show, I sit down with one of my absolute favorite speakers (sorry to my other preacher friends!)—Monsignor James Shea, President of the University of Mary. Together, we dive deep into the mental health crisis, the spiritual battle at play, and the solution that’s often overlooked: conversion.
And here’s where it gets crazy: I’m going to show you a wild clip from a conference that proves just how real this battle is. Monsignor Shea, one of the most powerful voices for truth today, encountered something unbelievable while preaching—something that may just leave you speechless. Plus, we’re giving away something EPIC!

In this episode (filmed behind the Vatican, how cool is that?!), I’m taking you through the nitty-gritty of who Saint Paul was and why his conversion means so much for us today. You’ll hear all about his daring journey to the heart of Rome, his insane run-in with Emperor Nero, and the relentless prayer life that made him relentless at sharing the Gospel.
Seriously, if anyone proves that prayer can revolutionize the world, it’s Saint Paul! In this eye-opening video, I sit down with John Burke, a researcher who has interviewed over 1,500 people who have had near-death experiences (NDEs). John’s extensive research reveals compelling evidence that the soul exists and that there is life after death. These NDE stories aren’t just hallucinations—they offer real, verifiable details about what happens when we die.
John shares what initially sparked his interest in NDEs and how these experiences defy common skeptics' explanations. He also tells extraordinary stories, such as a blind person’s first experience of sight in heaven and a woman’s journey to heaven during brain surgery. One of the most striking discoveries is that people from all over the world, regardless of culture or background, describe encountering the same God, experiencing unconditional love, and reviewing their lives.
Additionally, John reveals how people who have had NDEs experience time in heaven as multidimensional, challenging our understanding of time on Earth. This conversation is a powerful affirmation that we all have a soul and that death is not the end. It offers profound insights into what awaits us on the other side and how our lives are eternally connected to God.
If you've ever wondered about the reality of the afterlife or the existence of the soul, this video is for you.

Ever feel like you’ve tried to make a change but somehow always end up back where you started? It's frustrating, and it’s easy to think that the chance to change has passed. But I’ve got news for you: it’s not too late. Change doesn’t need to wait for the new year or the "perfect moment." You can start today.
In this episode, I’m sharing 5 straightforward tips to help you make real, lasting change in your life. The truth is, transformation happens when you stop waiting and take action, no matter how small the step.
We all face the challenge of becoming the person God has called us to be. And let’s face it—temptations are real. Ever notice how Doritos are impossible to stop eating? They’re engineered to be that way, right? But facing your weaknesses head-on isn’t always the solution. Sometimes, it’s about avoiding situations that trigger them in the first place. The bottom line is this: Your mistakes don’t define you. Real change comes when you understand that God’s grace is enough. Trust in His plan, take that first step forward, and let Him guide you through the process.

In this episode we dive deep into the reality that our society is drifting away from the bedrock of Judeo-Christian values. We're seeing a disturbing celebration of violence, like the shocking murder of a CEO, and a moral unravelings, as seen in a woman's OnlyFans boast about sleeping with 100 men in a single day.
These unsettling trends are the fruit of a godless worldview that strips away the inherent dignity of every person. I discuss that it's time to reclaim the rich legacy of Christianity, which has historically uplifted humanity, and return to these core beliefs to restore our moral compass and affirm the true worth of every human life.

Advent isn’t over yet, guys! While in the secular world, it seems like Christmas is already here, Catholics have a very different perspective. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we not only prepare our homes for Jesus’ birth, but we prepare our hearts and minds and spiritual lives, too!
Today on the Chris Stefanick Show, I’m talking to my dear friend, Fr. Michael O’Loughlin. He is the pastor of the Proto-Cathedral of St. Mary in Los Angeles and co-host of the What God Is Not Podcast. And yes, he is also famous for going to bars and coffee shops in LA dressed in his priest clerics and evangelizing to the patrons there!
We talk about how to close our Advent strong (or how to get back on track if you feel like your Advent has been lacking) and how to finish with the best Christmas ever. We chat about how hardcore Byzantine Advent is (they fast from meat, dairy, wine AND oil!), why engaging with God through our senses is important and needed, how to prepare your heart for Jesus’ birth, and so much more.
Plus, Fr. Michael shares all about Byzantine iconography and goes through several beautiful icons that capture the beauty of this season. I can’t wait to dive in!

December 12 is the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, marking 493 years since our Blessed Mother appeared to St. Juan Diego and initiated the largest mass conversion to Christianity EVER. If you don’t know how AMAZING the story of the apparitions of Mary, the miracle of Juan Diego’s tilma, and how God intervened in a contentious relationship between Aztecs and Spanish colonists, your mind will be BLOWN.
You guys, I am so excited to share this episode with you, that I filmed at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe! I touch on the complex issue of colonialism (it’s not as black and white as you’d think), the story of a lowly farmer who was visited by the Mother of God, and truly AWESOME facts discovered about the tilma over the centuries. Plus, I share some lessons from Our Lady of Guadalupe that are just as relevant today. Let’s dive right in!

You know him, you love him! I am so happy to bring back my good friend Fr. Mike Schmitz.
Did you know that, in addition to his podcasts and YouTube videos, Fr. Mike is a spiritual father to hundreds of students? It’s true! He has been the campus minister at the University of Minnesota Duluth Newman Center for 20 years!
We talk about how campus ministry has changed, how to get through to the “nones” (those who identify with no religious affiliation), and we offer some hope and advice for parents who want to ensure that their college-aged and young adult children stay close to the Lord.
Plus, I am so excited to share Fr. Mike’s newest adventure! The Newman Center at UMD has outgrown its very small space (the chapel can fit only 60 people!) and Fr. Mike is on a mission so that no soul at UMD has to be turned away for lack of space. UMD Newman is fundraising to build a new, amazing, HUGE facility that is a beacon of Catholicism on campus!
My conversation with Fr. Mike is so blessed, as always! If you’re struggling with motivation and hope, no matter your state in life, please know that there is hope and consolation and immense JOY in our God.

Happy Thanksgiving, guys!
Before we dive into turkey, football, and pumpkin pie, let’s take a second to remember what we’re even celebrating in the first place—gratitude for all of the AMAZING gifts God has given to us. Even if you have had a very tough year, there are still fantastic blessings that the Lord has placed in your life.
You may not realize this, but we actually OWE gratitude to God and the people around us, and that is a fantastic thing!
In this one-on-one episode, I talk about the Christian roots of Thanksgiving, my recent AWESOME visit to Colby, Kansas, why practicing gratitude really RESHAPES our lives, and why just “being a good person” without God doesn’t cut it. Plus, we dive into a spicy Q & A session where I respond to some of your comments and questions on my recent videos.
Don’t miss this uplifting and inspiring episode to get your mind and heart right before going into the holiday weekend. Happy Thanksgiving, and may your heart be filled with gratitude and JOY!

Damien Walker is saving the world through beauty.
In the aftermath of the catastrophic earthquake in his hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand in 2011, Damien began restoring the sacred statues in his local church. What started as a hobby became a “field hospital for sacred art,” and now Damien had the largest statuary in the Southern Hemisphere!
We talk about how he uses beautiful sacred heart to bring souls to Christ, why beauty will save the world (and why the Devil despises it), how to combat the distractions of modern life with the timeless beauty of the Church, and most notably, Damien’s commission from the bishops of New Zealand to create the AMAZING image of Our Lady of New Zealand. In this episode, I offer a Catholic perspective on voting, why it is even important to vote, and how we must approach our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout this election period. Later in the episode, I dive into the fascinating intersection of faith and professional life, exploring how we, as Christians, can boldly share our beliefs in the workplace. Joining me is Deacon Steve Greco, who brings a wealth of experience from his time as a senior vice president at Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Deacon Steve Greco shares how he seamlessly wove his faith into his leadership style, highlighting the profound impact of love, prayer, and encouragement in creating a positive and thriving work environment. Throughout our conversation, we emphasize the transformative power of living out our faith authentically in every aspect of our lives.

You know him from The Minority Report, Band of Brothers, and more. He’s had more than 60 epic death scenes on-camera. He’s Hollywood’s ultimate villain. Ladies and gentlemen, Neal McDonough!
Neal had it all. He was a rising Hollywood star, getting huge roles, working with the biggest names in the industry. Then, he was blacklisted for one thing: refusing to do romantic on-camera scenes with women who were not his wife. Neal stuck to his Catholic values and nearly lost his career because of it!
My conversation with Neal is so inspiring. We talk about his career, how he nearly lost everything after taking a stand, his struggles with addiction during that dark time, and how he came back, better than ever, to have an extensive and AMAZING career, using his talents to glorify God.
Neal knows that faith and staying true to God is a transformative thing. He has seen it first-hand in his own life! May his example inspire us to follow God as intensely in our own lives. If there’s someone you know who is going through a dark time or having a tough job situation, this is a perfect episode to share with them to give them hope! If your world was ROCKED by Part One of my interview with the legendary Arthur Brooks, get ready for Part Two!
We dive into the book Arthur wrote during COVID, Strength to Strength. In it, he talks about the second half of life—the part where we move from being the “doers” to being the “teachers.” For so many of us, this elicits fear, anxiety, and the sudden urge to buy a sports car, but it doesn’t have to! While our decline (physical and cognitive) IS inevitable, the way we handle it and use this stage of our lives to glorify God is totally up to us.
We talk about fluid intelligence (the first half) vs. crystallized intelligence (the second half), why being a grandparent is AWESOME, how we can make the most of the rest of our lives, what Arthur has learned from Buddhist monks, and MORE. This episode is so packed with wisdom, whether you are in this phase of life (like me) or not, our conversation is a fantastic way to reframe our views on aging and help you to better love and honor those in your life who are in this phase.

If you have never heard of my guest today, your mind is about to be BLOWN!
Arthur Brooks writes a weekly science column for The Atlantic, teaches at Harvard, is a New York Times Bestselling author, is friends with the Dalai Lama, AND is a faithful Catholic. In fact, he’s a daily Communicant!
We talk about Arthur’s disciplined morning routine, how the Virgin Mary has played a SERIOUS role in key moments of his life (including his conversion), what it’s like working with Oprah, the key secret to being an effective missionary in the secular world, and more!
By simply talking with the man, his presence and EXCELLENCE is undeniable. Our conversation was SO good and filled with nuggets of wisdom that this is part one of two episodes we’re releasing from our conversation. Be sure to tune in next week for the rest of our conversation!

St. Francis of Assisi truly changed the world with his radical poverty, love of God, and JOY. I am SO excited for this episode on one of my favorite saints!
We go through Francis’ life story—his lavishly wealthy upbringing, fighting in the Crusades, and eventually losing interest in worldly desires. He eventually renounced his wealth, his family, and his inheritance, for Francis realized his true inheritance was in Heaven.
St. Francis never intended to start a movement with his devotion to radical poverty, but people began to follow him in droves, giving away their possessions and serving the poor. That spirit of Francisican love and intense JOY is alive and well today, nearly 800 years after his death.
I share more about how one of the most pivotal moments of St. Francis’ life inspired a Mumford and Sons song (true story!), how our desire for control is precisely what is making us unhappy, and we close with what I think is one of the most beautiful prayers ever written, St. Francis’ Canticle of the Sun.
Whether he’s one of your favorite saints like me, or you only know him as “that hippie saint,” there is SO much to learn about St. Francis of Assisi in this episode. Let’s dive in!........

Guys, I am so excited to share my conversation with Tim Moriarty with you! Tim is an actor who has been featured in House of Cards, Blue Bloods, and more. He was raised Catholic, studying under Peter Kreeft at Boston College, and even entered seminary! He eventually left the seminary and subsequently went through an intense time of spiritual dryness.
Tim began studying Carl Jung, which set him on a search for truth. He began working as an actor and found success in Hollywood. Eventually, Tim's search landed him right back where he started—the Catholic Church.
He now makes films that showcase the beauty of Christianity and tell the story of our Faith. Tim’s most recent film, Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist premiered in theaters this past summer: https://jesusthirstsfilm.com/
We chat about how he worked through his wounds, Jordan Peterson’s connection to Carl Jung, and how tough but rewarding it is when you realize that you’re not in control, but God is. I can’t wait to dive in!

Content Warning: This episode discusses sensitive topics. Listener discretion is advised.
Guys, this is a tough conversation. But it’s one that needs to be had.
Today, I’m sitting down with Shelly Linksey, a dear friend of mine and the widow of another dear friend of mine, Sean. In 2006, I was working with Sean in diocesan ministry for the Diocese of La Crosse, WI. In May of that year, Sean committed suicide, two weeks before Shelly gave birth to their fourth child.
It is an understatement to say that our tight-knit community was stricken with grief by what happened. September is Suicide Awareness Month, so this is an excellent opportunity to share Shelly and Sean’s story. We talk about Sean’s short but intense mental illness, the day he died, and how Shelly pressed on in the days, weeks, and years afterward. We laugh together, cry together, and talk about things that don’t really get discussed in Catholic circles.
Sean was an amazing husband and father and an incredibly holy man. The impact he made in my life and so many he met is unforgettable. We’re aware that this is a hard topic and we might not have gotten it all “right.” But we didn’t want fear of that to prevent us from the greatest enemy: silence.
If you or a loved one is at risk, talk to a mental health professional, suicide hotline, pastor…just TALK. The Devil uses silence to keep us from God’s healing truth. If you need someone to talk to, dial 988 for the National Suicide Hotline. May God provide hope and healing for whatever you are going through ❤️

St. Benedict was the father of…life hacks.
Follow me for a second! His most famous work, The Rule of St. Benedict was filled with rules and processes and, well, life hacks that are STILL used today by monks and religious all over the world, nearly 1500 YEARS after it was written! His intense holiness and excellent rules for life made him the Father of Western Monasticism.
Today, I am thrilled to welcome back Fr. Augustine Wetta, a Benedictine monk, author, teacher, and former surfer and rugby player. Fr. Wetta radiates joy and is sharing with us some “rules for life” that he has found help him live a happier, holier life.
We talk about his struggles with early onset Parkinson’s Disease, his coming to Jesus, the most OUTRAGEOUS ways St. Thérèse of Lisieux has sent him roses, and how to carry on during tough times in your vocation.
I am so grateful for the gift of Fr. Wetta and his immense optimism in all things! This is a great episode to share with someone you care about who needs a boost or a smile this week ☺️

We spend a good deal of our time setting boundaries and expectations with family and friends who’s behavior or personalities may be harmful in one way or another, but what do you do when the finger is pointing BACK at you?
Yep, we’re going there this week!
Guys, I am so excited to share the final installment of my series of episodes with my friend, Dr. Peter Malinoski. Dr. Malinoski is a clinical psychologist, president and co-founder of Souls and Hearts, and host of the Interior Integration for Catholic Podcast. He has worked with patients in his private practice for more than 20 years.
One of the hardest things to do is admit when you’ve messed up, whether it’s losing your temper on your kids, being unkind to a spouse, or being less-than-proud of an exchange with a friend. In this episode, we discuss how selfish behaviors differ from full-blown personality disorders, what the root feelings are behind our harmful actions, and how Jesus is the healing balm when you hurt or have been hurt.
I’m so excited to dive in with you, and if there is someone you know who would benefit from hearing this message that God loves us INFINITELY (even when we mess up), could you please share this episode with them? ❤️

Happy 50th Episode of the Chris Stefanick Show! Thank you guys for sticking with me for 50 episodes of fascinating people living in the joy of the Lord. Here’s to 50 more!
Today, we are diving into a previously unreleased never-before-seen work of Pope St. John Paul II with Peter and Theresa Martin, and it has the power to CHANGE THE WORLD! How can it change the world? By transforming good and holy marriages, one couple at a time.
As Archbishop of Krakow, Karol Wojtyła wrote a Rule for Marriages to support couples in his archdiocese. The Martins have translated this rule into English for the first time and expanded upon it to form a framework for couples to live our their marriage vows with a deeper love and joy than ever before.
We chat about how this book came to be, how intentional community with other married couples makes your marriage STRONGER, and why living according to Catholic sexual ethics and openness to life can feel scary, but is such a beautiful adventure with your spouse and with God!
I encourage you to share this with your spouse and a couple you know who would benefit from watching this episode this week. Pope St. John Paul II, pray for us!
And as always, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to our YouTube channel so that you never miss an episode of the Chris Stefanick Show!

If there’s one thing we Catholics know how to do well, it’s suffering. Literally from the very beginning, Christians have endured persecution and opposition. It’s actually our ability to suffer well and “offer it up” that sets us Catholics apart from other religions.
But while this life IS an exile from the true feast of Heaven, our God did not make us to be sad and miserable for our whole lives. In fact, by living our lives close to and in love with Jesus, we experience a joy more intense than we can ever imagine, no matter what is going on in our lives!
Today, I’m chatting with my dear friend Fr. Michael O’Loughlin. Fr. Michael is the pastor of the Byzantine Catholic Proto-Cathedral of St. Mary in Los Angeles, host of the What God Is Not Podcast, and a permanent fixture on Real LIfe Catholic pilgrimages. We’re sharing five ways that you can unite your life with Jesus and move from vicTIM to vicTOR.
I can’t wait for you guys to catch this latest episode, and hopefully you find some of the tips useful in your own life. I encourage you to share this episode this week with someone who may be struggling. There is hope, and our God is a loving Father who NEVER abandons his children!

Guys, I have been all over the world, but one of the most life-changing experiences I have ever had was my 2018 trip to Haiti. It blew my mind that a place of such profound suffering and poverty also was filled with such profound JOY. It really put into perspective for me the things that matter in this life and the things that really don’t. This trip affected me so deeply that our Missionaries of Joy donors now fund a full-time doctor to work at the clinic I visited in the show. Do you ever feel like you met a saint in real life? That’s what it’s like to talk with Immaculée Ilibagiza.
Immaculée was in college when the Rwandan Genocide broke out in 1994. Her parents and brother were killed by people they knew who had turned to the side of the government. She hid in a neighbor’s small bathroom with seven other women, barely saying a word for three months just to stay alive. I mean, can you IMAGINE what that was like?
We talk about her memories of the apparitions of Our Lady of Kibeho in 1982, her time hiding in that bathroom during the Rwandan genocide, her internal struggles with anger against her persecutors, and how she eventually came to FORGIVE her parents’ murderer. Stay tuned to the end, where Immaculée shares some words of encouragement when you feel like you can’t forgive those who have hurt you.
This is a heavy topic, but Immaculée’s love for Jesus and Our Lady are overflowing!

Guys, I CAN’T WAIT to share my latest guest with you!
While leading a pilgrimage to Italy last month (btw, join me on pilgrimage! https://RealLifeCatholic.com/pilgrima..., I met up with the mother of a SAINT—Antonia Salzano. Her son is Bl. Carlo Acutis, the first person of the millennial generation to be named a saint. Yes, that means a PlayStation is now a second-class relic!
If you have never heard of him, Carlo was born in 1991, and had a profound love of Jesus and the Holy Eucharist. He was a daily Communicant, loved to serve the poor, but also played video games and designed a website documenting Eucharistic miracles and approved Marian apparitions! He died from complications from leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, was beatified in 2020, and will be officially canonized as a saint on October 20, 2024.
Meeting Mrs. Acutis was an unforgettable experience. We discussed how Carlo’s piety and virtue really saved her, what Carlo was like as a child, his love of the Holy Eucharist, what his final months were like, and how it feels to be the mom of a saint.
Stay tuned to the end, where Mrs. Acutis shares some words of encouragement for parents who have lost children, and a special prayer through Carlo’s intercession to help us grow in love and reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist.

Get ready, guys this episode is going to be wild! If you or someone you love is struggling with your gender identity, listen to this podcast! Today on the Chris Stefanick Show, we have my good friend, Jason Evert. Jason has given talks on chastity, purity, and the nature and dignity of men and women for more than 20 years now. His most recent book, "Male, Female, Other? A Catholic Guide to Understanding Gender" is a well-researched guide to modern gender theory and a blueprint for responding to gender theory with charity and clarity. We dive right in, discussing the roots and history of gender theory, how many genders are there, what actual peer-reviewed studies say about kids with gender dysphoria, how to respond to those in your own life as Jesus would, AND the time actual witches tried to disrupt Jason’s speaking tour of Australia (and how it failed!). Gender theory is a intense and heavy topic, but Jason’s optimism and unfailing joy make this a super fun and engaging interview. Let’s dive in!
If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with a friend! And thank you to our Missionaries of Joy for making all this possible.
I am SO excited for you guys to meet my guest this week! Kalashi Duraiswami grew up Hindu, in the highest caste, Brahmin. He became an entrepreneur as a teenager, and eventually a tech giant in Silicon Valley who could have retired at 31. But he was so unhappy and enslaved to his desires. Then he found Jesus, and everything changed. What do Hindus really believe? What is the caste system and does it really matter to Hindus today? Are ALL religions equal, and is it arrogant to say that Christianity is more right than other religions? Is the fast life of startups and high-paying tech jobs of Silicon Valley ALL it's cracked up to be? And what’s the secret to Indians being SO successful in America?! We get into all of this and more this week on the Chris Stefanick Show. Kailash’s conversion story is a beautiful one of a devout Hindu upbringing, to atheism as a young adult, to eventually finding rest in the Catholic Church. I can’t wait for you to meet him! If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with a friend! And thank you to our Missionaries of Joy for making all this possible.
I’ve said it before, guys, and I’ll say it again: Jesus didn’t come to make bad people good, He came to make dead people ALIVE! That is surely the case with my good friend, Jim Wahlberg.
Jim is the exact middle child of THE famous Wahlberg family. He started getting involved in drinking and crime at a very young age and by age twelve, he was a ward of the state. He spent years in-and-out of prison and even time in solitary confinement before he was 30.
It was during one of his prison sentences where he picked up a job as a custodian for a Catholic priest at the prison chapel and Jim’s life changed FOREVER. He was introduced to the forgiveness and love of Jesus! We talk about meeting Mother Teresa, being “Mom’s favorite,” and his current work in filmmaking and on Jesus Thirsts: the Miracle of the Eucharist.
Jim’s story is one of God’s redemption and healing goodness, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

When was the last time you prayed a rosary? Whether it’s been a day, a week, or many years, there’s no better time than NOW to pray one! We usually talk about God on this show, today we’re going to talk TO Him!
If you aren’t familiar, the rosary is an ancient prayer based in scripture. The Hail Mary and the Our Father are taken straight from the Gospels. These well-known prayers function as a background to meditate upon mysteries that are based on the life of Christ, taken from scripture.
To help keep you even more focused on the beautiful mysteries in the rosary, I’m going to read a bit of scripture between each Hail Mary using the Rosary app. If you’ve never prayed the rosary this way before, it’s a fun and new way to explore this ancient practice!
Today we are praying the Joyful Mysteries of the rosary, which are commonly prayed on Monday and Saturday. The other mysteries are the Sorrowful Mysteries (Tuesday and Friday), the Glorious Mysteries (Wednesday and Saturday) and the Luminous Mysteries (Thursday).

Guys, I am so excited to share this episode with you! We’re doing things a little differently this week, but there have been some interesting cultural moments recently and I really want to share my thoughts with you. Ready for a chat?
First, I want to talk about Joe Rogan’s interview with Kid Rock. Kid gave some great arguments defending his Christian beliefs, but I have some tips to help make them even stronger. Next, we talk about what to do when you witness to friends and family and they say “Eh, I’m good.” And finally, we’ll round it out with my thoughts on O.J. Simpson, because if you’re in my generation, EVERYONE remembers watching the Ford Bronco car chase the subsequent trial.

I am so excited to bring back Dr. Peter Malinoski for a THIRD appearance on the Chris Stefanick Show! Dr. Malinoski is a clinical psychologist, president and co-founder of Souls and Hearts, and host of the Interior Integration for Catholic Podcast. He has worked with patients in his private practice for more than 20 years.
Today, we are discussing scrupulosity. Do you know someone who is VERY strict with their spiritual and moral practices, to the point where you think it might be a problem? Or, do YOU sometimes struggle with feelings of unworthiness of our Heavenly Father’s love? If so, this episode is for you. Scrupulosity is a spiritual and psychological affliction that can sprout from a desire to be pious and virtuous, and can be associated with obsessive compulsive behaviors. Dr Malinoski and I discuss the roots of this affliction, how to combat it, and how to find a solid therapist who respects your Catholic faith to help you overcome it.
Let me be perfectly clear: our Heavenly Father DELIGHTS in you and wants you to live a life full of happiness and desires to spend all of eternity with you in Heaven! No matter your past or your faults, you are precious in His sight. If you or someone you love struggles with this affliction, please share this video with them. ❤️

I can’t wait for you guys to meet my guest this week! Fr. Augustine Wetta is a great friend and his joy and love for the Lord are just contagious. He is a Benedictine monk, lover of obscure saints, and author of Pray. Think. Act. Make Better Decisions with the Desert Fathers. He’s also living with early onset parkenson’s…which makes his contageous joy that much more inspiring.
Today, we talk about some of Fr. Augustine’s favorite saints (did you know there’s a Patron saint of “unattractive people”?), his love of the Desert Fathers, who nicknamed themselves the Athletae Dei, “the Athletes of God,” how to make and stick with big life decisions, and how to stay the course in your vocation when life gets tough.
We had so much fun in our conversation, and we hope you have just as much fun watching!

I am SO excited to share this episode with your guys today! We’re bringing back Fr. Robert Spitzer, a Catholic priest, scientist and author to talk about the soul. How do we know it exists? Is it just some concept Christianity made up? How do we know the soul exists?
Fr. Robert and I dig into how Plato and Aristotle and even cultures BEFORE the ancient Greeks knew that a soul exists, why monkeys and other animals don’t have souls, and how the fascinating data on near-death experiences ties in perfectly with Catholic theology.

Happy Easter, guys! He is risen, just as He said—ALLELUIA! If there are three words that change everything, it’s these: He is risen. Today, we’re going through Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, and how it affects your life 2,000 years later. We’ll talk about why we still experience death and what it actually means to say that Jesus “conquered death.”
I’ll share a passage from this fantastic ancient homily from Holy Saturday and how the homilist reflected on Jesus meeting Adam and Eve face to face after his death. Finally, I’ll share some video I took when I visited the empty tomb of Jesus, one of the most holy places on Earth.
You guys, God literally makes dead people alive. Imagine what he can do in your life. Let’s truly celebrate Christ’s victory this Easter season!

Thanks to Bishop Barron for the insight about all the world’s evils converging on Jesus, and to Fr. Benedict Groeschel for the insight about Jesus feeling abandoned so we wouldn’t have to feel that way alone.

Get ready, guys, and maybe get a box of Kleenex for this episode! We’re talking with one of the most profound men I have ever met, Dr. Bob Schuchts. After spending more than 30 years as a therapist, Dr. Bob founded the John Paul II Center for Healing, where his team leads a number of healing retreats for individuals and couples who want to encounter the healing love of Jesus Christ.
We go through the actual marriage vows said in the Catholic sacrament of matrimony and talk about what they mean, and Dr. Bob reflects on his own marriage with his wife Margie, who died six years ago.
Think this episode is only for married people? Think again! You may have heard me say before that sometimes you think in life without thinking about WHAT you’re thinking. Follow me? Dr. Bob also talks about how we identify the “false vows” we have been living out of (whether consciously or unconsciously) and how to renounce those vows and take every thought captive for Christ!
This is such a beautiful conversation and I am so excited for you guys to see it. Share it with your friends and family who are single, engaged, newly married, or who have been married 50+ years! It’s THAT good! ❤️

The “Woke Movement” and “wokeism” are terms that seem to be thrown around EVERYWHERE on the internet these days. On one side, you have people wondering why their friends and family are suddenly hating the values they grew up with. On the other side, people who have a genuine concern for justice and the marginalized are trying to help THEIR friends and family see their concerns and side of the story. Where does it all leave us?
Today, I’m sitting down with Noelle Mering, author of Awake, Not Woke to discuss what the woke movement even is, where it comes from, where it’s misguided, and what we can do about it in our everyday lives. I know this sounds like a super political episode, but we really stress the importance of seeing the PEOPLE on both sides of the woke argument with the love and dignity they deserve as children of God.
My challenge to you this week is to share this with someone who disagrees with you on this topic, so that you may engage in a loving, fruitful conversation and see the GOOD in each other ❤️

Get out your tin hats, today we’re talking conspiracy theories!
JUST KIDDING, no tin hats required! But we are talking not about conspiracy theories themselves, but how to survive in a world where sometimes, the line between the truth and the conspiracy is…a bit murky. Or is it?!
I’m so blessed to have Dr. Peter Malinoski back on the show to chat about this. We chat about some fascinating questions,, such as how do we tell the difference between the truth and a conspiracy? Does it really matter, meaning, is it on us to figure out what's going on behind the scenes? How do we not fall into the sin of trying to be omniscient? Is doomsday prepping good, or can people take it too far? Is Christianity a conspiracy theory?!
And finally, how do we talk to and love friends and family who have taken the whole conspiracy thing a little too seriously?

I hear all the time from parents whose children have drifted away from their Catholic faith either as teenagers or adults. These parents have done everything they can and pray for their children every day.
There is hope for you. There is hope for your kids! Dr. Michael Sirilla is LIVING PROOF of this.
Dr. Sirilla is a very dear friend of mine who grew up in a Catholic family and abandoned all of that as a young man to travel the country doing drugs and following the Grateful Dead. He had a massive reversion to Catholicism and is now a professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Guys, if you want to see what God can do in a person’s life, look no further than this episode!
One more thing—if there’s someone you know who is struggling in this area, whether they’ve drifted so far away from God that they don’t know how to come back, or a parent whose child has left the faith, can you share this episode with them? I want them to know that God DELIGHTS in His children and is always waiting to bring them back with open arms.

Are you ready for a behind-the-scenes look at what marriage counseling is REALLY like? We're taking the "Real Life" in Real Life Catholic to the next level. My wife, Natalie, and I are getting real, raw and vulnerable today.
We’re sitting down with our friend, Dr. Jim Langley, to show you what a typical marriage counseling session looks like. So many people are afraid to go to marriage counseling or they feel like going to counseling means their marriage is doomed, but it can be a super edifying experience!
A major theme in this episode is being comfortable being vulnerable with your spouse and overcoming fears. It is by overcoming these fears that you can communicate better with your spouse, have the freedom to work through past or present issues, and ultimately lead each other to Heaven. We hope that by sharing our session with Dr. Jim, couples who are maybe afraid or on the fence about counseling will feel empowered to take the step in their marriage journey.
Just remember: be real with yourself, be real with each other, and WORK AT IT!

Religion and….science? Yep, you read that right! So many people think that religion and science are incompatible, but this could not be further from the Truth.
Pope John Paul II said in his encyclical Fides et Ratio that “Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth—in a word, to know himself—so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves.”
Enter Fr. Robert Spitzer, an insanely smart priest, author, and president of the Magis Center. We talk today all about how science and religion are not only compatible, but also how both are essential in the order of the Universe created by God. We also talk about refuting common objections to the existence of God, the time he debated Stephen Hawking, and whether or not he believes aliens exist.

Shame. It’s a feeling so universal that it goes back to our first parents, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The enemy actually uses shame to make us feel like we’re the only person dealing with a certain problem to keep us disconnected and hidden from our communities and from God.
Today, I’m sitting down with Carrie Schuchts Daunt to talk about all types of shame, what it does to us, and the antidote to it. Carrie is an author and presenter for the John Paul II Healing Center’s Undone and Unveiled retreats, where she leads women in healing from past wounds and shame. How can something that seems so simple be so HARD? Yep, we’re talking about forgiveness with Fr. Ken Geraci, CPM, an EXPERT on the subject. This guy, in opposition to political protesters at a conference we attended together, led people in prayer! But he is the first to say that forgiveness is a virtue to be practiced and cultivated over time.
But sometimes, you don’t want to forgive. Or, you only want to forgive about 95%, and you need to go a little further to forgive that last 5%. This is where the “dirty work” of forgiveness begins and where the Lord is ready to meet us with his healing grace.
Today, we talk about all of that, plus how to forgive when someone really did something terrible to you, how to forgive things that maybe even happened before you were born, and more. I can’t wait for you guys to dive in with us!

This was quite possibly one of the most profound and impactful conversations I’ve had in my entire life! Truly, Kim Zember is a presence of the outpouring of God’s love.
So often, people within the church tend to pick two sides of the LGBTQ issue. They ignore the person feeling these attractions, or they condone and celebrate the lifestyle. The problem with these options are, neither one views the whole person as a child of God.
Kim and I talk about her journey, how she realized she was attracted to women, when she realized that the LGBTQ community was hurting her more than helping her, and the people who loved her along the way. She also gives practical tips for how to walk with someone on this journey and amazing resources and ministries if you experience same-sex attraction and want to live according to Jesus’ plan for your life.
Guys, the Lord loves you SO much. He doesn’t care what you have done or what struggles you have. He knows all of that and still found you worth dying for and loves you STILL. I can’t wait for you to watch, and please consider sharing this video with a friend who would benefit from hearing Kim’s testimony.

Merry Christmas, guys!
Today, I’m bringing you with me to where it all began—The Holy Land. I mentioned in last week’s episode in Nazareth at the Basilica of the Annunciation there is a sign that says “The Word Was Made Flesh Here.” Cue the chills!
If you’ve never been to the Holy Land, it is a completely transforming experience, and I want to take you along on my 2018 trip so that you can experience what it’s really like where Jesus lived and walked and died and ROSE from the dead. I can’t wait to dive in with you!

Merry Christmas, guys!
This Christmas Week, I want to talk to you about amazement. Do we see the wonder in God the same way Anna and Simeon did when Our Lord was presented in the Temple? If we were at the manger scene, would we have been amazed?
G.K. Chesterton once said, ““The world will never starve for want of wonders; but only for want of wonder.” There are so many amazing things in this world, and we are unfazed and accustomed to so many of them.
This Christmas season, let us bask in the wonder and majesty of the God of the Universe, who willingly chose to come to us as a tiny baby. Let the Word Made Flesh dwell among us!
Stick around to the end for my friend Sarah Kroger sharing some beautiful Christmas music! And join Sarah, Fr. Joe Krupp and I for a pilgrimage in September 2024 to follow the steps of St. Paul in Greece. The Catholic Church was and remains the LARGEST social service in HISTORY.
If you don’t love the poor, you will go to Hell (sorry, don’t shoot the messenger!).
That’s a lot to sit with, but sit through this episode, and you’ll be convinced. First, I’m sharing my time ministering to the homeless in the Denver cold. Meeting these beautiful souls and sharing God’s love with them is always an unforgettable experience.
Next, I sat down with my new friend, Jacob Livengood, who was once himself homeless. Jacob’s story is an inspirational one, and I am so grateful he was willing to share it with us.

Is Pope Francis the real Pope? How do we know? It seems there’s a growing number of Catholics online questioning the papacy, and we’re here to set the record straight. I brought on my dear friend, Dr. Michael Sirilla, a theology professor at my alma mater, Franciscan University of Steubenville, to not only answer the internet’s hottest questions about the Pope, but to clarify what modern Catholics may not know about the office.
There are a lot of Catholics confused and hurt right now about current events in the Church, and we’re here to talk about it with love and truth. I can’t wait for you to dive in!

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! This channel is all about finding and living out the joy in Catholic life, and with the holidays coming up, I wanted to give you some tools for dealing with family members who may have narcissistic tendencies. It’s a helpful skill to have in your tool belt, especially this time of year!
I’m so excited to share this conversation with my guest, Dr. Peter Malinoski. He is a clinical psychologist who is an expert in loving people out of narcissism. We talk about how to identify a narcissist, how to heal from narcissism, and how to find healing if you’ve been hurt by a narcissist. My hope is that you’re able to use this episode to maintain a fresh perspective going into the holiday season, where you might find yourself in social situations where this will be helpful!

In the spookiest episode to date, we sit down with my friend, Fr. Chad Ripperger, who is a REAL LIFE exorcist. You guys, Christ literally uses him to liberate souls from demons!
While this episode does talk about some serious situations, we’re not going to get into the crazy stuff you see in scary movies. Spiritual warfare is a REAL thing and it’s time to put on the armor of God and protect ourselves!
This is such an amazing conversation with Fr. Chad about fear and how to overcome your fears. As he explains, the evil one tries to play on your fears to separate you from the Lord. We talk about why that happens and practical advice for staying close to God, because Christ already won the battle against evil.

Are you guys ready for this? This is a very special episode that is near and dear to my heart. I got to sit down with Fr. Michael O’Loughlin, a great friend of mine. Fr. Michael is the pastor at the Proto-Cathedral of St. Mary in Los Angeles. He recently drove six hours to be with my mother-in-law in the final hours of her life and subsequently celebrated her funeral Mass. We’re sitting down to talk about death. Nobody like talking about it, but we’ve all got to face it eventually. This is such a beautiful conversation, and we touch on things like how to live our lives as Catholics without a fear or anxiety of death, what a priest actually does when he administers Viaticum (also known as “last rites”), and how to memorialize the dead in our everyday lives to remember those who have gone before us. I will admit, this is a tough topic to talk about for some, but when we approach death as the holy experience that it is, that fear is replaced with the grace and loving mercy of the Lord!

I’m so excited for you guys to see this latest episode! I sat down with my friends Jim Beckman and Fr. Ken Geraci and discussed seven key scripture passages that deal with forgiveness and healing.
As we go through these Scripture passages, we talk about opening ourselves up to forgive, letting God’s mercy heal us, and so much more. This episode does get a little deep, but it is so worth the listen!
You guys, God loves you so much. I want you to know that whatever has happened to you or whatever you have been through, the Lord is ready to take that journey of healing and forgiveness with you. He calls us all to forgive and everybody has got to forgive somebody, so let’s dive into the spiritual freedom that comes with it! ❤️

Today, we’re talking all about masculinity. So often in this world, the word “masculinity” is preceded by the word “toxic.” Not today! When men’s tendencies and attitudes are nourished and raised up in light of the Gospels and in light of Christ’s teaching, we make the culture more BEAUTIFUL.
Men and boys are NOT a fire to be put out. Men, the Church needs YOU to grow and give yourself as a gift the way Christ gave Himself as a gift.
Then, I share with you a talk I recently gave about how a generation of young men are being told they are BAD and TOXIC and are left asking the question, “who AM I supposed to be?” There is hope! There are role models of what it means to be a true MAN. One fantastic example of Catholic manhood is St. Maximilian Kolbe, who left the Commander at Auschwitz SHAKING in his boots because of his fierce love of Christ.
Finally, I leave you with the model of masculinity and self-gift: Christ Himself This episode is full of TRUTH, and I hope you love it just as much as I do!

I can’t wait to share this week’s episode with you guys! First, I talk about how the world will hate you for standing up for what is right—and YOU should do it ANYWAYS.
Next, I share a clip from a talk I gave about how the world hates men who say the word, “NO.” So often in today’s culture, we are called to draw boundaries. We can feel like a tiny David against the Goliath of Cancel Culture and the Internet. The culture tries to weed out men who stand up for the little guy, but it’s important to remain STRONG!
Then, I catch up with Mark Houck. Mark is a husband, father, Catholic, and pro-lifer. You might remember him from last year, when the FBI raided his house early one morning as his family was just waking up and brought him in for defending his son.
Mark Houck gives us the FULL STORY on what exactly happened that morning and why it is so important to be a voice for the most vulnerable members of society. Both as a father, and as a pro-lifer.
Finally, I have a message for my haters But you have to watch to the end to find out what it is!

Your pain, your suffering is not a sign that God has abandoned you. That is a lie! Jesus Christ did not suffer so that you would not have to, He suffered so that you would know how to. God redeems every single experience that you can possibly have, including suffering. Even at death, at your final moment, you are there with Jesus who is there to carry us to eternal life.
In suffering we find STRENGTH, and in suffering we find JOY. In this episode, I sit down with two students at Ave Maria University who are showing me what this means. One student has a congenital joint disorder, and another who is paralyzed from the waist down from a tragic car accident. While this sounds like it could be a sad and depressing episode, Ella Rose and Adrian’s JOY and LOVE for the Lord is downright contagious!
I can’t wait for you to meet them, be blessed by their stories, and be inspired to unite your suffering to the Lord in your own life. Also, I share an update on my own daughter’s battle with MS and how she is #MSstong and strong in her faith. She also has some exciting news to share!
And know that, whatever you’re going through, God loves YOU and desires to be with YOU in the midst of it all.

This week - I bring you with me to Hawaii, one month after over 100 people lost their lives in the fires. Lots of questions remain to be answered. But for us, we dive in to the most important questions: “Where was, and where is God in the midst of all this?”
Guys… and the grace is so evident, and I hope our "documentary-style" episode honors that. If you’re lacking time, fast fwd to minute 19 and listen to how people who lost loved ones are chipping in to help rebuild. They carried their dead from the flames, and now they’re helping others. That’s more than #MauiStrong, that’s a sign of the God’s very presence in the midst of tragedy. This episode highlights that presence!
It’s also highlighted in the beauty of culture, ukulele, luau, hula, chant, and more.

I’m so excited to bring this week’s interview to you with billionaire Tom Monaghan of Domino's Pizza . He’s got a lifetime of wisdom to share, and at some points in this interview he shocked me with his vulnerability.
Mr. Monaghan is 86, so I want you to push away your distractions, turn the volume, and give this one a careful listen.
We track how he rose from an orphanage, to trading pizzas for dental work, to being a the founder of Domino's Pizza, arguably the founder of fast food delivery, and billionaire… and then how he went from being a billionaire to conquering pride and taking what he called “a millionaire’s vow of poverty.”
There are just so many nuggets in this one that I can apply to my own life as a father and a leader. I hope the interview blesses you too!
Finally, I answer a great question from a viewer, “How do I answer people who say that we ‘conservative’ Christians are too hung up on sexual morality.”

Did you know that there are more martyrdoms in the 20th century than in all centuries of Christianity combined? It's true! It's really important that we become aware of what's going on in the world right now. Not only so that we can be inspired by these stories of faith right under our noses, but also so we can work for a better world. And so we can be on a watch for trends in Western Civilization that seem to tolerate violence and intolerance of Christians. All that and more in an interview with Gia Chacon on this episode of the Chris Stefanick Show.
It shouldn’t be surprising that THE most important thing for our relationship with God is to talk to him. That’s why I’m alone today to talk about Prayer, why we need it and how to do it to best love the Lord.

You pull up to the street corner. There’s that grungy guy again, holding his cardboard sign.
You feel a nudge like you should help him somehow. But the idea scares you. So you avoid eye contact.
Jesus makes it crystal clear that we need to serve the poor. Yet every time we see an opportunity, we feel intimidated.
How do we get over that?

● What the poor really need, deep down (and so do you).
● Simple ways you can serve them like Jesus tells you.

Fear. Everyone feels it.
Even my buddy Dom Raso, a Navy SEAL.
But here’s the thing about fear. If you try really hard to NOT feel afraid, you’ll get even more anxious. As Dom will tell you, what you gotta do is redirect your fear with a mindset of faith, rooted in God and His truth.
This week, Dom’s back on the show to explain four ways you can redirect your fear. And trust me, they work. He’s BEEN there and DONE that in over 350 combat missions.
If you put his advice into practice, you’ll be more courageous than you ever imagined.

Even the most faithful Catholics struggle with discernment.
Figuring out what God wants can really stress you out. But when you develop your discernment skills, you can relax. There’s no peace like knowing you’re in tune with God’s will.
That’s why it’s so cool to have Fr. Timothy Gallagher with us! He’s spent years deep-diving into Ignatian prayer and the Rules for Discernment. He’s also written some excellent books of discernment advice, which you’re going to hear from.

Sometimes it can feel impossible to meet God in our daily lives.
Fitting real prayer in between our daily duties is difficult, and most of us don’t even know what it means to meditate on God’s presence. Fortunately, Fr. Timothy Gallagher is back with more incredible advice for meeting God in our own lives!
He’ll tell you about the awesome program for spirituality given to us by St. Ignatius of Loyola, which has formed Catholic heroes like St. Isaac Jogues, Mother Teresa and St. Francis de Sales. Better yet, he’ll give you an achievable plan for prayer so that you, too, can know what God is telling you.

“In good times and in bad” (or some variant) is a vital part of the marriage vows every Catholic couple says on their wedding day.
But sometimes those “bad times” are actually much worse than we expect. Coldness, selfishness, infidelity and more can make many couples’ marriages go from a fairy tale to a nightmare, and healing the resulting wounds can feel impossible.
Fortunately, there is a way to find love, tenderness and forgiveness in your marriage. Our guests, Jackie and Wadi Barreto, work for Retrouvaille, a marriage healing organization that has rescued thousands of couples from divorce and marital strife.
You’ll hear about their experience in helping countless couples reconcile, and learn how to strengthen your own marriage BEFORE it encounters these kinds of struggles.
If you’ve ever gone through “bad times” in your marriage, you’ll definitely want to see this.

(And I don’t mean trading fish and fasting for chocolate and jelly beans.)
You see, we’re not going back to our normal lives again. Because Jesus has RISEN from the dead.
And that’s shocking news.
Sounds like I’m overreacting? Think about it. Our world is obsessed with death. We do whatever we can to avoid it. But we can’t control the fact we’re going to die. Yet God became a man who died and then defeated death itself by rising to new life. Like… WHAT!?!
The story of Easter literally changed the entire world. And it literally changes YOUR story too.
So let’s talk about the Resurrection with fresh eyes, so you can see what it means for you right now. Because if you want to live an authentic, joyful Catholic life, you gotta start right here at the core.
We all know the Bible says to “love your neighbor as yourself.”
But here’s the funny thing: We’re usually better at loving our neighbor than loving ourselves!
Sure, we all get a little down on ourselves sometimes. But God doesn’t want you to constantly focus on what’s wrong with yourself. He wants you to love yourself – and He’s better at affirmation than anyone else!
So, if you want the joy that comes from replacing your negative self-talk with God’s Word, then this may be the most important thing you listen to all week!
A while back, I had Jim Beckman on the show, and we talked about healing from abuse.
And… wow. We got so much heartfelt feedback. (Seriously, you guys are the best.)
But a lot of you asked about hearing this from a woman’s perspective.
So, I talked to my wife, Natalie, and she agreed to come on the show and tell her story.
What you’re going to hear is a story that touched our marriage specifically. But I hope our own journey of hope and healing will give you strength in your own journey too.
If you want to know what raw faith and redemption look like in a Catholic life, this episode is for you.
We always say that conversion is a possibility for anyone. But it can be tempting to think that there’s no hope for some people.
Dr. Joseph Pearce used to be one of those people. He used to be a white supremacist neo-Nazi, and even spent time in prison.
Now?
He’s one of the top Catholic intellectuals in the world, with works on Lewis, Tolkien, Shakespeare, Belloc, and more! He also has served as an editor for the Augustine Institute, the Imaginative Conservative, and other intellectual publications.
All of this was possible because Dr. Pearce accepted the love and forgiveness of Christ. In this episode, you’ll hear about his conversion and learn:
- What initially attracted him to white supremacy
- How God rescued him from racism
- How to have a cultural identity without being hateful
And more!
We can all use some hope. Lucky for us, Pope Benedict XVI wrote a whole encyclical about it.
So in honor of his recent passing, we’re going to explore what this great pope said about the virtue of hope.
And to do that, we’re joined by Fr. Brian Larkin, who is a priest in the Archdiocese of Denver. Not only is Fr. Brian really smart, but he can also take Pope Benedict’s deep teaching and break it down into bits we can all digest.
If you’ve been inspired by Pope Benedict and want to learn more about him, then you’re in for a treat!
Vulnerability.
Sounds like weakness, doesn’t it? Because you’re opening up the wounded parts of yourself to people.
But God can create such incredible good out of your brokenness. He even says in the Bible, “My power is made PERFECT in your weakness.”
So this week we’re talking to John Edwards again, because he knows all about vulnerability. His life’s been full of it – converting back to Christ while in prison, learning to be more open with his wife and kids, and starting a men’s ministry from scratch.
If you want to find the true JOY we’re all looking for, it takes vulnerability. But don’t fear! John and I are here to explain what authentic (and life-giving) vulnerability looks like.
We live in a world where anything goes, but nothing is forgiven. (We even have a new word for it: “cancel culture.”)
Amazingly, a lot of Christians (even Catholics) believe there are people out there who shouldn’t be forgiven.
So in this episode, we reflect on:
What real forgiveness is, and what it’s NOT.
Why forgiveness is meant to be total, no exceptions!
How to forgive even the most horrific sins.
If you’re struggling to forgive someone else or even yourself, you’ll take away a lot from this episode.
What is salvation?
If we get anything right in our faith, it should be this. And yet, most Catholics don’t have a clear idea of what salvation means. Especially when a non-Catholic challenges them with the question “Are you saved?”
In this episode, Dr. Michael Barber unpacks the Church’s teaching on salvation: what it IS and what it ISN’T.
So the next time someone asks you “Are you saved?” you’ll know exactly how to give them the Catholic answer!
Nobody likes a grumpy saint.
You could be the most pious person walking the face of the Earth. But if you're a spiritual curmudgeon, then you’re kinda missing the whole point.
Because God wants you to HAVE FUN!
Like St. Teresa of Avila once said, “A sad nun is a bad nun.”
In fact, having fun is so important that there’s a virtue for it!
So in this episode, we talk about how fun fits into the spiritual life:
