Matt Gallagher is an American author, veteran of the Iraq War and war correspondent. He has written on a variety of subjects, mainly contemporary war fiction and non-fiction. His latest book “Daybreak” is about a disillusioned American veteran who volunteers for the war in Ukraine to reconnect with a woman from his past.
