Hunter Daly is a London based cinematographer. We cover his journey from law student to gaffer to successful short form DP, before going on to discuss Hunter’s recent thoughts around the morality of shooting commercials, the ethics of celluloid, the environmental impact of the filmmaking process, and his decision to go back to university to study environmental politics. Ultimately we ask whether filmmaking is really enough for those who want to enact social change. Feel free to email hunter on
[email protected] if you would like to chat to him about some of the issues raised in the episode.
