Thief (1981)

Rich with atmosphere and obsessed with process, Thief is a simple story that's elevated by masterful filmmaking and topnotch performances. It's so good, Austin would try to steal the election from Misery again if he could. Whether or not he gets the diamonds, James Caan will always have our hearts.
