#66: Today on the Clean Power Hour, it's a new day in Illinois! Our new energy legislation, the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act of 2021, triples the amount of resources coming into the solar wind and battery storage industries in Illinois. We are now gunning for 40% clean grid, by 2035.

My guest today is Mark Pruitt, principal of the Power Bureau and and original director of the Illinois Power Agency.

New RPS is 40% by 2030, and 50% by 2040

Triple the incentives for solar, wind and battery storage - 9 GW of clean power

Prairie State Energy Campus - 1200 MW coal plant, a mine mouth coal plant near Carbondale IL
