Sexton's story is a must read.
For the second time in as many years, Isaac is joined by Dan Christensen of the Florida Bulldog to discuss the latest news regarding 9/11 and the case against the Saudis. Will the newly released documents obtained by the lawyers of the victims' families finally bring justice? Or is the slow drip of information too late, too little? Can a movie like Oliver Stone's JFK be made and inspire renewed interest in the most significant event in modern history?
Give the Florida Bulldog your money!

We watched Bee Movie so you don't have to. We ask the questions the comedy world is too scared to ask, like, "Is Jerry Seinfeld even Jewish?" Make sure to check out Remember Shuffle and join the righteous hate of @fakejerry over on Instagram. Also, if you want to listen to Part II, you have to subscribe to the Patreon.
Years from now, I wonder how people will misremember these campus protests. They'll tell themselves they were on the right side of history, even has they tut-tutted the students for their actions. "Well, that's not the the way that I would go about changing things." I think we like the drape our world in nuance so we can pretend that we didn't know better, or the answer wasn't clear. But it's crystal. The world is complicated, yes. This is not.
There were campus protests of Vietnam back in 1968. Steve Schafer was at the original Columbia University occupation. I've known Steve most my life. He worked with my father as a public defender. He also served in Vietnam. We talked about whether history repeats itself or just echoes at his farm out in the country.
I'm on my way home from Japan. I thought a lot about Hiroshima and OJ Simpson. Here's a preview of an upcoming episode about how history is written in sand.
This will be my first ever pay-walled episode. If you'd like to hear the whole thing, head on over to Patreon.
Isaac is joined by Dorian (@dankdeleuze) and Klonny (ParaPower Mapping) to talk the politics of paranoia and Max Azzarello, the Florida man who self-immolated in front of the courthouse charging Trump.

Be sure to subscribe to Maxwell's Substack for some gorgeous insight.
Finally--some bipartisan agreement in Congress. This month, our esteemed elected officials voted to "ban" the social media giant. But the ban would just force the private Chinese company that owns it to sell it to investors with ties to the Israeli government.
Isaac is joined by James Rehwald and Sam Quick to talk about the state of social media, dopamine and deplatforming.
Isaac and Herman go off the rails and talk about fear of flying, Alexei Navalny, fidget spinners, near death experiences, Jacob's Ladder and our mothers.
Isaac talks media layoffs and the death of the Vice with Paul Blest and David Roth. Private equity is sucking the life out of journalism. Most modern journalists have been laid off multiple times by different publications. We ask how these investment bankers sleep at night, how we got here and what we can do to save journalism.
You can do your part by supporting A More Perfect Union and Defector.
You can also still by my hats.
Music production consultant: Nina Clark
Isaac is joined by Dorian (@dankdeleuze) and Mike (@turnleftist) to talk about the politics of sacrifice.
Jon Stewart is back and nothing has changed. America is at a historical dead end. The old world will not die and so the new world cannot be born. Isaac is joined by his good friends Ben and Jordano of the show Remember Shuffle to discuss the return of Jon Stewart and the end of history (it stopped in the 2000s).
Be sure to check out Remember Shuffle, a show that examines the 2000s and its tremors that define our modern lives.
Isaac tempts fate by comparing Rachel Dolezal to Jake Sully from the movie Avatar. Ja, AKA @lexaprotagonist , keeps Isaac's white boy antics in check on this very special episode where we decide if Rachel Dolezal is as bad as the media made her out to be for claiming black identity.
American paranoia is at an all time high. Not even our holiest day, the Super Bowl, is free from the fear. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in cahoots with the Pentagon to rig the sacred game and assure Joe Biden electoral victory. It's a PSYOP! Why is this word everywhere? Is everything a psyop? Is the psyop a psyop? Isaac is joined by @dankdeleuze and BWAP (Beyond Woke and Problematic) to talk about the proliferating paranoia.
Isaac and Daniel Boguslaw discuss the turmoil at the New York Times over the Hamas sexual violence story that turns out to be wholly fabricated Israeli propaganda. Is there any hope for the fourth estate? Or is there only budget for cowardly journalists happy to do the bidding of the state in exchange for shiny statues?
Read Daniel's great work here.
And fund my journalism here.
Isaac gets serious and talks about God.
You've consumed the media, now it's time to consume the product. On a BONUS Josh Wine episode, Isaac sits down with wine expert, Thomas Morgan, to tell you what a viral internet phenomenon tastes like. SPOILER ALERT: it's not very good.
Why do we buy and drink subpar wine when good wine at a similar price is available? Thomas gets into the nitty gritty details of the wine industry and what to look for if you want to drink wine that tastes good (and won't make you feel like crap the following morning).
If you are in the Sarasota area, be sure to check out Thomas's shop, Seagrape Wine Co.
And if you are on the internet, go here.
What the hell is up with bottles of Josh wine all over my social media feed? Isaac gets to the bottom of this week's internet phenomenon and what it all means. He's joined by Herman Wakefield, AKA @northwest_mcm_wholesale, to explain why this factory bottle of wine has momentarily conquered the internet. Are we doing free labor for corporations by sharing jokes? Or is the internet still an untamed beast that hipster doofus ad execs pretend to understand?
Speaking of advertisements, buy the merch!
Isaac has bills to pay so he's pivoting to TRUE CRIME in hopes of a burgeoning media career. To help Isaac on his rebrand, Ryan Ray jumps on the mic to discuss 5 recent mysterious murders that happened in the state of Florida.
We also talk about a new Florida-based news site that we will be working on together called The Florida New Signal.
Herman Wakefield, aka @northwest_mcm_wholesale helps Isaac look back at the last 365 days of the internet. Was it funny? Yes! Was it depressing? More than ever! Does it feel like being online is collapsing time and the years become indistinguishable as we consume content of diminishing quality at break neck speed? Sure!
Support the show and protect your skin from the sun and buy a hat over at coexist.shop!
Is Artificial Intelligence destroying music as we know it? Isaac is joined by @La_Meme_Young (AKA Max Alper) to discuss the state of music as AI programs infiltrate our airwaves with worse and worse songs.
Check out Max's non-AI music here.
And please show your support for the show by buy a hat at my newly launched wesbite, coexist.shop.
Isaac is joined by Black Lives Matter Tampa Bay co-founder, Donna Davis, to discuss the differences between between the modern Free Palestine movement and Black Lives Matter.

This is not complicated.

Joelle Bouchard, AKA @namaste.at.home.dad, tells Isaac what drug rehab is like the state of Florida.
Isaac reluctantly talks about the horrors in Gaza and Israel.
It's a safe bet that whatever Elon Musk says is true is a lie. For the better part of a decade he's been preaching the need to colonize Mars and extend human life into the universe. This is dumb. Space colonization is a hateful fantasy that will never, ever happen.
On today's episode, Isaac is joined by Max (@schizotopia.pod) and Dorian (@dankdeleuze) to talk about the merits and demerits of leaving our earth to colonize space.
The 22nd anniversary of 9/11 was the most uneventful in history. It came and went like a Jewish holiday--no one but a few true believers paid any mind.
People say they're not surprised by anything anymore. This is bad. 9/11 started and it never stopped. 9/11 is happening right now.
So why don't people care anymore? Did the memes kill 9/11? Are we really so easily bored?
To understand this, Isaac talks about the first 9/11--the 1973 military coup of Chilean president, Salvador Allende.
Keep those eyes open.
To celebrate both Rosh Hashanah and the half-century episode of Cheeseburger in Babylon, Isaac is in Tallahassee with good friend Ryan Ray to talk about the future (or lack thereof) of the great state of Florida. For those of you who are not in Florida, take heed! We are the canary in the coal mine! We are the cracked crystal ball where you can see what your own future portends.
Ryan is the head of the Leon County Democrats and believes there is hope to be had. It would be foolish to cede this beautiful place to such ugly people.
Isaac believes we should triage and amputate certain parts of the state and focus on others. Miami is the first on his list to go.
Check out Ryan's podcast, Tropical Depression, for some proper Florida insight.
Weaponized hurricanes, Burning Man Ebola, tainted gas, fake folk music--Today I talk about the proliferating culture of conspiratorial paranoia in America as a part of an ongoing series addressing the 21st century phenomenon. All conspiracies are metaphorically true, even if the details are all wrong. It's not gonna go away by proving them wrong. You can't refute a feeling.
RIP Jimmy.
Paul Reubens died. But he will be vindicated in death. (Funny Pee-wee Herman noise).
I'm joined by Bob Plunket, a Florida writer who covered Paul's sex scandal in the early 90s, to discuss the cruelty of the Florida police who entrapped the famous actor, the return of American homophobia and Plunket's first novel, which recently received glowing appreciation in the New Yorker and other publications.
Buy Bob's book here.

Schizotopia, AKA NEOYEOMAN, AKA Maxwell Cody talks artificial intelligence, rebranding and how the internet is breaking our brains.
Check out Max's work @schizotopia.pod and subscribe to his forthcoming Substack at NEOYEOMAN.
There is a good chance that we could have the first Florida Man president in US history. Four Florida men are running for the highest office in the land in the 2024 election. Mayor Francis Suarez, Senator Rick Scott, Governor Ron DeSantis and the big dog himself, Donald J. Trump, are all vying to be our next president. With the help of Florida natives, Ryan Ray and Emily Kearns, we discuss the viability of these four men and whether we think they are hot or not.
Manny joins Isaac to debate the merits of cannabis after Ron DeSantis said on the campaign trail that he would NOT federally decriminalize cannabis if elected president. The next day he signed a bill legalizing tele-health prescriptions for medical marijuana. Curious! Then we talk about the Titanic submersible event after everybody else already said their piece.
We are taking comments on this episode, so call 941-704-5149 and leave a voicemail and tell us why weed sucks or that G-d gave us the herb to heal our rotten souls. I'll respond to them in a following episode.
Sound engineering by Thomas Pryle and Calvin Stumpf
Star of the recent documentary Jared From Subway: Catching A Monster and former FBI informant, Rochelle Herman, talks about her time going undercover to expose Jared Fogle. Was he just a stupid pervert? Or a perverted intelligence asset? Is calling an intelligence asset perverted redundant?
Isaac is the latest victim of media layoffs.
Sound engineer: Thomas Pryle
You've likely heard about the Florida anti-immigrant bill that has undocumented migrants fleeing the state. Manny comes on the pod to talk about his experience working with immigrants and his own experience as an immigrant in the United States.
Then we talk about the rise of independent conservative artists Forgiato Blow and Jimmy Levy and how art might never have been meritocratic.
Sound engineered by Thomas Pryle.
Daniel Boguslaw, investigative reporter of The Intercept, joins Isaac to complain about the state of journalism. Isaac gets real sad about Florida, but takes great pleasure in Ron DeSantis' inability to catch a break.
I talk with Robert Schentrup. His sister was killed at the Parkland school shooting. We talk about the death penalty and gun violence.
Sound engineer: Thomas Pryle.
Has Ron DeSantis's presidential campaign ended before it even officially began? On today's episode, I'm joined by Ryan Ray to talk about all the ways in which DeSantis has stumbled and why passing policy is actually bad politics. I also implore liberals to stopping threatening to move to Canada when they don't get their way.
Check out Ryan's podcast, Tropical Depression, for more informed insight on Florida politics.
Sound engineered by Thomas Pryle.
In light of the latest news regarding the release of military documents that reveal the CIA hid information from the FBI that could have prevented the 9/11 attacks, Dan Christensen joins the podcast to remind Isaac what serious journalism is.
Dan Christensen is the founder and editor of Florida Bulldog, a non-profit, independent publication that has broke some of the most significant news regarding the September 11th attacks and the events and characters that surround it. Please do yourself and good journalism a favor and head over the Florida Bulldog to read Dan's latest.
Thanks as always to sound engineer Thomas Pryle.
This week we have Palestinian director Vin Arfuso on the show to talk about his new documentary, Walled Off. It's about the hotel in the West Bank with the "worst view in the world." We talk about who is really to blame for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (it's not the Jews!) and getting shadowbanned on social media (it's real, we swear!).
Be a mensch and watch the doc.
Sound engineer: Thomas Pryle
The gloves are off! Meatball Ron and the Teflon Don are finally at each other's throats. Is this a good thing for Florida? Or does that mean DeSantis is going to be our governor for a lot longer than we expected?
We finish our countdown of the nuttiest bills in the Florida legislature.
Sound engineer: Thomas Pryle
Ryan Ray comes back on the show to countdown the top ten most insane bills making their way through the Florida legislature.
Trump vs. DeSantis is basically just Terminator 2.
Big ups to sound engineer Thomas Pryle for making us sound so good.
Nathan Robinson, editor and chief of Current Affairs, does a solid job convincing Isaac to stop trolling and embrace sincerity.
Nathan's new book, Responding to the Right, provides solid, rational points against popular right-wing talking points. But is it worth engaging with people who see the world so differently?
Isaac makes a confession.
Chris Sanders memorial.
Furry shit-talking.
And a list of all the war criminals and dictators who retire in comfort in the great state of Florida.
Today we have Emily Kearns and Vivian Mae on the show to talk about the anti-trans movement in Florida. Under Ron DeSantis, anti-trans legislation has moved at warp speed. How do we slow it down?
Special thanks to sound engineer, Thomas Pryle, for making us sound good.
Today we talk to Donna Davis, cofounder of Black Lives Matter Tampa about a Confederate monument that might be restored after it was felled back in 2017. We also talk about the state of the Black Lives Matter and whether it's effective any more considering all shenanigans of some of the national leaders of the organization. Also, does the "left" provide anything beyond symbolic victories that can be undone with the wave of a hand?
Stand-up comedian Daryl Wright returns and takes over the podcast! He teaches the boys the difference between love and hate and the origins of slurs.
Recently, there has been mass hysteria about furry culture. Hoaxes about demanding children in furry costumes that disrupt classroom instruction have spread on the internet. It's a ridiculous fear that hearkens back to the Satanic Panic of the 1980s. In this episode, Isaac and Chris sit down with furry and scaley, Lolleep, to discuss the nuances and realities of SWF furry culture.
Tiktok: @lolleepcandydutch
No one is safe from Gov. DeSantis' culture war. New College of Florida, a tiny liberal arts school with less than 1000 students, is the target of a right wing take over. The plan is to turn the college into Christian conservative institution that teaches "American values" and removes the "woke virus" from the public school.
Is there hope for New College?
Intro music by Tommy Disfigured
Chris and Isaac discuss their personal differences, their favorite episodes of the past year and what they expect out of 2023.
Be a mensch and let us know what you think of the podcast. What you like. What you hate. Who you'd like us to interview.
For whatever reason, there's an epidemic sweeping this nation that only seems to affect police officers. The slightest contact with fentanyl causes our boys (and girls) in blue to overdose and then make cable news appearances. Recent bodycam footage of a Florida police officer requiring three doses of Narcan in order to be resuscitated made national news, but medical consensus says that the drug just doesn't work like that. On this episode we talk to journalist Zach Siegel about how fentanyl finds its way into other drugs, why Mexican cartels aren't trying to trick our children into buying fent-laced candy and the mass psychogenic illness of police overdoses.
Follow Zach @ZachWritesStuff and read his work over at tanag.substack.com.
Jimmy Buffett and Jesus Christ were born on the same day. On today's episode, we talk about our namesake with resident Jimmy Buffett expert a daughter of a parrothead, Emily Kearns. Can Isaac find room in his cold heart to embrace the unbridled and relaxed joy of Jimmy? Find out now.
Special thanks to Tom Pryle for editing this episode.
We have a chat with a Judge Advocate General about the recent revelations of Gov. Ron DeSantis's history of torture at Guantanamo Bay.
In today's episode, Isaac, Manny the Intern, and Chris speak with an anonymous guest to discuss Lifetime's The Gabby Petito Story. It's a sidewinder of an episode that discusses the Lifetime film, the Petito Case, the nature of abusive relationships, and of course Ron DeSantis.
FTX signed a 19-year, $135 million contract with the Miami Heat to sponsor their arena. Now the crypto exchange is bankrupt. Who could have possibly seen this coming? Folks, it looks like the free-money spigot has been turned off. Crypto experts Bobby Reardon and Manny Rangel join us to explain just what the hell is going on the crypto world and why people are so upset that nerds have weird sex lives.
Kartik Krishnaiyer and Ryan Ray join us to discuss the absolute ANNIHILATION of the Democratic Party of Florida in the recent midterm elections. While the rest of liberal America celebrates conservative disappointment in the election results, Florida has just entered a new era of blood-red Republican control. Why are Florida Democrats so bad at politics? What does the future of Florida look like? Who will win when DeSantis inevitably faces off against Trump? All that and Isaac makes a case for adopting the Japanese honor-killing ritual of seppuku for politicians who lose by more than 15 points.
In this episode, we discuss the latest spate of antisemitism percolating in the news with Jewish comedian, and Boca Raton native, Josh Edelman. Finally, Chris knows what it feels like to be a minority.
Follow Josh at @theedelmeister on Instagram and Twitter.
On the cusp of buying Twitter, we have on resident money expert, Bobby Reardon, who tries to make a case to Isaac that Elon Musk isn't a total idiot. We also talk about whether cryptocurrencies are dead and why Florida tends to attract the scammers of the world.
Neil Volz, deputy director of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, stops by to talk about the recent outrageous arrests of Florida voters by DeSantis's "Office of Election Crimes and Securities." Will these tactics scare people away from the polls come November? Why is it OK to take away the right to vote of any citizen?
What effect will Hurricane Ian have on the upcoming November midterm elections? Florida politicos Kartik Krishnaiyer and Ryan Ray give us a historical lesson on hurricane politics and how DeSantis fumbled the disaster, but appears to have come out ahead. Where is Charlie Crist? Has the Democratic Party of Florida let a crisis go to waste?
Make sure to check out The Florida Squeeze for all things Florida history and politics.
*Forgive the technical difficulties this morning
We interview Justin Bloom, founder of Suncoast Waterkeeper, about Florida's imperiled water post-Hurricane Ian. Chris rats out his neighbor for insurance fraud.
Is Florida's contribution to the world of music a net negative? Does the music from our state suck beyond repair? Or do we actually make some pretty solid tunes? We have Steev Saguaro on the pod to educate us all the sounds coming out of Florida. Steev also hopelessly tries to teach Isaac how to love Miami's favorite bald guy, Pitbull.
Make sure to check out Steev's music, memorycare, over at Soundcloud.
The boys continue their conversation with independent investigative journalist, Daniel Hopsicker.
Be sure to check out Daniel's work over at www.madcowprod.com
We sit down with investigative journalist Daniel Hopsicker to talk about his life and discuss his time in Venice, Florida just after the September 11th attacks. He tells us about Mohamed Atta, strip clubs and heroin busts and why you should suspicious of anyone who has a private jet.
This week, to celebrate Isaac's favorite holiday, we talk conspiracies and why Florida has so many of them. We are joined by Ben and Erik of the Podcast For a New American Century. Their podcast forensically analyzes the events leading up to and resulting from September 11. Make sure to check them out @PNACpod on Twitter.
Today, we have stand-up comedian Daryl Wright. Wright has been featured on UFC on Fox, the Joe Rogan Experience, and hosted the Wright Turn Podcast. At its peak, it was the number #1 NASCAR podcast in the country.
Daryl talks about his first time performing, his take on stand-up comedy, what's wrong with Florida, and spends plenty of time to roasting us. This pod is a fun one!
We talk to Florida politico, Ryan Ray about the upcoming primaries, why the Florida Democrats can't get their shit together, Crist v DeSantis and then we somehow manage to end on a hopeful note about the future of Florida politics.
Florida primaries are on August 23rd.
Vote no on Amendment 2!!!!
Brace yourself. Part II is somehow even more crazy than Part I. Malcolm gives us the scoop on the secretive zoophilia community and the tragic end of his relationship with Dolly.
Ooo boy, we got a doozy for you this episode. We interview Malcolm Brenner, a man famous for having sex with a dolphin. He wrote a book about it called Wet Goddess. It's got 4/5 stars on Amazon. In the book and on the podcast, he makes the case that it was the dolphin who seduced him. We ask that you listen to this podcast with an open mind, but not around your pets.
Chris and Isaac talk to Steven Claytor of North Florida Survival about how to survive the apocalypse in Florida and what it might look like.
Chris and Isaac chat with Martin Hyde, Republican congressional candidate for the 16th district of Florida.
Chris and Isaac sit down with Tampa-based actor and standup comedian Dick Colligan to discuss Scientology.
