Episode 16 - Hospodor on the Sicilian Campaign in WW2

Special guest Dr. Greg Hospodor of TRADOC talks to Dr. Jonathan Abel about the Sicilian Campaign in World War 2.  He explains the planning and strategy behind the campaign, detailing why the Allies chose to invade the island.  He walks us through the campaign itself, illustrating how the Axis forces defended it and how the Allies responded to operational and tactical challenges.  Finally, he concludes with the significance of the campaign.
