Dr. Jonathan Abel goes on the road at the 2023 meeting of the Consortium on the Revolutionary Era, a yearly conference dedicated to the history of the period 1750 to 1850, especially military history. He first sits down with Dr. Alexander Mikaberidze of LSU-Shreveport and the Knoll Collection and Jack Gill of the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies and the International Institute for Strategic Studies to discuss logistics in the Napoleonic era. He then has a conversation with Dr. Alexander Burns about the late Christopher Duffy and his legacy, and about soldiers in the eighteenth century.
