Dr. Jonathan Abel is joined by Dr. Bill Nance and Dr. John Hosler to nerd out about a controversial topic in historiography: periodization.  They discuss why periodization is important, how it can be done, and what issues accompany it.  They also illustrate some of the pitfalls of periodization, including whose stories it might prejudice.
