Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been alluring his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of different genres. Simply put, Alan’s fascination is a reflection of his passion for electronic music and inspiration he gets from the world around. He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his exceptional sound. Alan Backdrop released his debut album, VR Plan, in 2013 on Prologue Music, an album that includes some of his pioneering tracks, such as “Cherber,” “Medel,” and “Siere.” Shortly, he managed to create his second album, Eria, released in 2014 on Ekar Records, label and platform with which he has a long-lasting relationship and where he released a big part of his discography. Amongst the others, the two techno EPs released for "Mental Modern" and "Semantica Records" in 2018 are noteworthy, while the last works seeing the light in 2019 are a deep techno 12" for the Czech "Harmony Records" collective and a massive trancy track called "Nizaj" for Nina Kraviz's "трип Recordings". Alessio's side project is a_000, born from the unprompted come across of him and Enrico Rlt, which resulted in the creation of "Road to Nauta", the very first wax from Ekar Records and "Ness Reworks 001", a 12" containing two original tracks plus two remixes from the label founder and friend Ness. In addition to spending most of the time in his studio, Alan Backdrop performs in various festivals—the latest in which he performed were Modem Festival and Parallel— and in different clubs and musical events. Giulio Maresca emerged in the Roman electronic music scene through different projects. In 2008 he started his own project Ipologica with Fabio Sestili exploring electronic music in all it’s genres from ambient experimental to deeper grooves. Later he focused his work on techno music and he was resident at two of the most important techno events like Glucose and Container Project. He is involved in artistic installations, audio/video performances, solo and group live performance and dj sets, he works as Ableton Live teacher and music composer for video and has experience as radio speaker and editor at Nea Radio (Brancaleone) and Container Radio. His style is refine but powerful, deep and groovy; his solo project is techno oriented but he also collaborates as producer and performer with other artists and groups exploring different genres from electronic pop (Hack) to classical music (Ramin Bahrami, Martux M). Container Podcast is back with Viels. Class 1990, Viels was born in a little city outside Milan (Italy). Early in his adolescence he discovered techno culture inspired by a book called “TECHNO“ by Christian Zingales. Having released his first Ep on Initial Berlin in 2015, Viels continued his musical path appearing with a track on the well respected dutch imprint Dynamic Reflection, followed by his debut ep “Distrophism” and contributing for the 10 years anniversary of the label, among some of the most recognised artists in the scene : Donato Dozzy, Mike Parker, Shifted, Oscar Mulero, Blawan, Ness, Jeroen Search and many more. 2018 marks the launch of his own imprint “ End Of Perception ” in co-ownership with Francesco della Sala, the label is now at the third chapter of its VA series. As a musician Arturo got his firsts instructions in EMP at SAE Institute New York (US), this overwhelming place and it’s aceleraded rythm of life helped Arturo to develope his very own pulsating deep and energetic style. 

Arturo’s sound is hectic, wavy synths, deep dark melodies and poweful basslines fulfilling the spaces where he perform. This unique style made Arturo resident of the legendary club Roxy CZ and many other main spots in Prague gaining the approval of iconic techno artists such as: Paula Temple, etc.

LEGO ( PARABEL ) When Lego just turned 16 the Swedish duo 'The Knife' released their album 'Deep Cuts' with the track 'Pass this on' which enchanted her and brought her into the world of electronic music. Ever since she has explored the techno scene both in Sweden and worldwide, which inspired her to start doing underground raves such as Stockholm based 'Funny Bunny' and .WAV, and also later on club nights at clubs in Stockholm like 2.35:1, Södra Teatern and Slakthuset. In 2012 the will of spreading her own favorite tunes lead her into the DJ-booth. LIVE RECORDING VOLNOST, SEOUL Whether doused in the grit of his hometown Glasgow, or expanded by the widescreen vistas of his current base, Barcelona, the music of Darren Roberts has asserted it´s uniqueness within his preferred form of expression, rolling and tunneling techno, strong on propulsion and atmosphere. Naming the project Deepbass was a strong statement of intent and commitment to a sound of his own, from the start. That he has in fact established it and remains on a path of constant perfection of it, is indicative of Darren´s personality and talent. This consistent path has seen Deepbass put out records on labels such as Edit Select Records, Aconito Records, Dynamic Refection and Soma, all the while enjoying a steady rise in recognition both with audience and peers. Along the way, he found in Italian producer Andrea Deplano, most widely known as Ness, a perfect foil for his vision of techno, with both collaborating on releases which displayed uncanny compatibility in sound between them. This commitment to the deeper, hypnotic side of techno is further proved by his own label, Informa Records, where releases by names like Reggy Van Oers, nAX_Acid, Claudio PRC, Takaaki Itoh, Ness, NX1, Hironori Takahashi are constant highlights for those who crave expansive and engrossing soundscapes. SEELEN LABEL MIX By NARCISS Despite naming himself after a mythical egomaniac, Narciss’ approach to Techno is very far from self-centered, with his inspirations reaching from the cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft’s writing, across the jagged dystopian landscapes of Tsutomu Nihei, to the 90’s tool techno whitelabel-records he fell in love with in his teen years. Undeterred by the tonal difference in these influences though, the glue holding all of them together is an earnest sense of urbanity and Narciss’ audible wish to make a crowd move as ecstatically as possible. SEELEN. is an independent Techno record label founded in 2018 by JANEIN and Stigmatique, that is based out of Leipzig, Germany. While at first glance these might not have a lot in common, upon closer inspection you begin to notice, clear as day, there is a distinctly punk mentality in the labels modus operandi. From their cover artworks, that have more in common with a record-stores Death Metal section, to the fact that the label is completely self-distributed to avoid the industry machinery that crushes the spirits of many trying to go through it. SEELEN.'s musical foundation can no doubt be found in this mentality as well. Formed around a tightly knit crew of artists sharing a single vision, it has sharp corners, an often eye-melting tempo and bleeds from every pore with ecstatic raving madness. NX1 came in with strength into the international techno scene with the release of their first record on their label at the end of 2011. NX1 01 was limited to 200 hand stamped white vinyl copies that reached the top sellers on the renowned Dutch distributor Clone.nl in just a few days. This, in turn, made them receive immediate support by heavy weights of the genre such as Surgeon and Marcel Dettman among many others. Since then, the NX1 project has not stopped growing and evolving, with dozens of records behind them, they have continued to produce a wide range of material from which many big personalities in the scene have been feeding. Thanks to this the spotlights have been moving towards their releases and productions. During this time, they've been asked to collaborate and contribute to the respective projects from artists like Terence Fixmer (Planete Rouge), Dax J (Monnom Black), Oscar Mulero (Pole Group), Svreca (Semántica), Developer (Modularz), AnD (Inner Surface Music) Bas Mooy (MORD) or Go Hiyama (Hue Helix) among many others. Berlin-based dj and techno producer savas pascalidis has been steadily making his mark in underground electronic music circles since his first releases in the mid-90s. He runs his own label sweatshop and spins at various clubs worldwide. In his performances he always tries to transmit his emotions to those in front of him,always receiving positive feedback for his musical choice and his technique. In 2015 he's open his label called ENNERT, initially created only to release its most experimental works. Here he released his first EP (Steps) recorded and mastered at LRS FACTORY, recording ad mastering studio, where he still works, in Rome. In 2016 he was invited to participate at ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) with his label for a showcase during the conference. Antonio Vázquez is a DJ and music producer from Seville (Spain) based in Berlin since 2011. He started producing in 1998. When he moved to Madrid two years later, he began to play. There he had different chances to play in different bars and events, until he got the opportunity to play at Cassette Club on the inauguration party followed by several times afterwards. His style was always focused on environmental and organic sounds, shifting sometimes on more minimalistic and electro tones. The productions were always different styles because of his eclectic music taste and because he made different works for advertisements and websites. It was though when he arrived to Berlin and after meeting really inspiring friends that he developed his style into deep techno. After his podcast for T_Mood, he experienced a really fast and increasing success playing at ://about blank multiple times in different events, in Manchester at Komme, Pseucho Club in Leipzig and specially he had the biggest chance to play three times at Berghain. Live set recorded at Kosmonaut - Berlin Worg is an electronic music producer, sound designer and live performer based in Rome. He explores sounds that range from experimental techno through industrial approaching deep techno. Captivating textures, persistent rhythm and metallic discordance merge both live and during studio production. Noise, smooth pads, distortions, drones and slight and hypnotic melodies are the characteristic elements of his music, giving particular attention to search both complex and distinct sonorities which are never banal. Exilles is a project born from the alchemy of two minds, united by a common desire to undermine, compose and recompose deep techno sounds with a mystical and enigmatic imagery. They strictly perform live, orchestrating ancestral ceremonies with analog machines and modular synthesizers, whose dark and hypnotic sounds chase the persistent in a synesthetic atmosphere. A millennial stronghold, where space and time seem to crystallize. Exilles invites you to enter the wide entrance, built with thundorous, corrosive kick and neurotic sounds. Anja Zaube can look back on a long DJ-bio already. After first appearances as ‘Nanday’ in the leftwinged underground of Berlin, she took a short break and had a come-back to the turntables in 2008 under her own name. She’s often seen in Berlin’s top-clubs, from which mostly to be heard in ://about blank. After playing different genres of electronic dance music, Anja‘s sound turned darker and harder. Her interpretation of Techno is deep, bleak, but also industrial and experimental. That‘s what makes her sound unique and what finally got her several bookings in Berghain already and made her a popular DJ in the Berlin Underground Techno Scene. Gianluca Meloni, born in Rome , made his musical path trough different styles; has been studying Piano at “Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Roma” and played in various underground bands; his big passion about music starts back when he after being listening to Tangerine Dreams first album decides to buy his first synth: a Korg MS-10. He was a pioneer in the 90′s and was able to insert electronic seeds into an underground scene mainly ruled by Gianluca Meloni A.K.A. LAERTES progressive rock; his most important contribution in that period was to the album “Strani Sogni” of the band SIG V, CNI Music -Italy. His debut single “Perchè Non Parli” was a huge successs in Italy and was much more than often played in italians radio’s shows; Not that later he mets up with Dino Sabatini, still “just” a guitarist, after a studio session and a very solid friendship, based on their common passion for music, starts to grow between them; that amazing duo soon became the “Modern Heads” project, leading both of them to play in some of the most prestigious clubs around the globe as Panorama Bar in Berlin, Brancaleone in Rome and Macumba, Madrid, AIR Tokyo, FUSE in Bruxelles, just to list few. From the beginning, the past is part of the musical training of Manuel Di Martino, who gained his first experience with traditional analogue instruments, using vinyls and an old turntable. Techno music always was a substance, made of contrasts - it was born in Motor City, befriended man and machine, combined live emotions and technical precision. These features should be the best to describe music from young Russian producer Aleks Unbalance. Born in Siberia, Unbalance debuted in 2008 and it took a few years to create his own unique style. As a recently emerging artist, Rommek has shown promising developments in his own sound, as well as carving his way into the current techno scene. His extensive interest in sound design is embedded within the atmospheric, murky and textured tracks he produces. The London based producer released his debut 'Thought Patterns EP' on Weekend Circuit. This helped to establish his position on the map. Since then, various releases on Sonntag Morgen or Dyad have proven his wide appeal through the combination of the energetic, gritty UK sound combined with deep and transcendental aspects. In 2016 Rommek joined the iconic Blueprint Records, with his EP ‘Moth Hole’, plus contributed to the 20 years ‘Structures and Solutions’ compilation. Chris was born in 1987 in the outskirts of Ulm, Germany. As an infant of only 12 years old, he first got in touch with music. At the age of 20, Chris visited a DJ school in Ulm, where he digged deep into a world of vinyl, literally learning the real Djing. Soon, he got his first gigs in clubs and also grew fast for bigger venues and succeeded getting his first jobs on festivals such as SEMF festival in Stuttgart, Germany. Formerly known under the live duo alias, Casual Affair, a project recognised throughout London for its signature rolling fluidity and acidic beats, Øliver has a history of electronic music in his blood. In 2016, he took the decision to focus on a self-titled solo project with an evolved musical direction. Raised in an environment with a father as a musician, Øliver was inevitably immersed in music from a young age. These musical beginnings were founded around a deep taste for heavy sounding Metal and melancholic genres. Cristian Marras is an exciting DJ/Producer, based in Berlin who has slowly been working his way through clubs in Berlin, Italy, Spain and Holland. Born in Naples in 1989, Diego developed a strong passion for electronic music as he was growing up around Neapolitan club culture as a teenager. Al Ferox, also named Alessandro F., is an italian musician and producer, founder of the labels Dancefloor Killers, Kobayashi and Scream. He ran away from Italy to France at the age of 17, all that kept him going was his love for music. He got his first inspiration from his brothers vast record collection from 70’s listening bands as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Zappa, early Genesis stuff, then being profoundly inspired by the 80’s punk industrial metal, and new wave scene. End of 80’s he played bass guitar in different new wave and punk bands in France. Early 90’s he founded « X-Rated-X » an industrial metal duo inspired by Ministry, Killing Joke, NIN… and began to use samplers, sequencers and drum machines. After this experience, Al Ferox discovered techno music and the rave scene. In 1997 he founded the label Kobayashi, where he produced his first techno releases, « The dream of the headless man », « Shaved trax » and « Car crash » was his biggest hits on Kobayashi. Also he produced artists such as Vitalic, Marco Carola, Woody Mc Bride, Oscar Mulero, Stanny Franssen, Gaetano Parisio, C.Denza and more. Scream, his second label was an acid techno project where he produced four vinyl releases. In 2001 he founded « Dancefloor Killers » a Kobayashi’s subdivision, more dedicated to electro and dark techno music. The first record on DK was « VitalFerox – Absolut ep » a collaboration with Vitalic, which was a big hit. A project born in 2014, London-based Pleiades was formed from the collaboration of two synchronized minds, with a kindred taste for dark and driving, melancholic sounds. Their sets have resonated throughout London’s walls and as far afield as the Middle East. In 2015, Pleiades took on residency for Grey Matter at the time of it’s inception. This soon grew into them becoming a pillar of the night, whether opening and setting the mood, or closing with one of their deeply engaging extended sets. Outside of club spaces, the project continues to hold weight at off-the-map nights and un-promoted afterhour sessions. When writing a biography, there are certain things you can’t avoid, even though you know it has been said many times and you fear it will end up looking like any other biography, with the usual and righteous amount of name droppings. For instance, in order to write Joachim Spieth’s bio, I couldn’t avoid saying that he has released a numerous amount of records, on labels as renowned as Michael Mayer’s Kompakt. And that some of those releases, such as « Under pressure » have been and are still hits. And I couldn’t possibly forget the label Affin he has successfully been running for about a decade, with dozens of releases added to its catalogue. I also had to mention that he has been involved in the electronic music scene for the past fifteen years; that he used to play in a band as a teenager. I had to name some of the countries he played for: Australia, Denmark, France, Georgia, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, UK… But that being said, what really matters at the end is who he is and what he wants to express by producing music. What he has been giving to the scene. Being a shy character, he is not the type of person searching for the spotlight but someone that is evolving on the scene by pure passion and wants to communicate this passion to the others. He created his label Affin to be as independent as possible and focus on his own vision, surrounded by artists sharing it with him. What he does not put into words is translated into sounds. Deep, solemn and at times enraged, his productions represents Techno in its purest expression. Tigerhead’s musical cognition was long and comprehensive, started almost fifteen years ago in her Czech little hometown where she was at first influenced by a massive punk-avantgarde movement spreading all over her country. With a dash of temperament it took no long to get under this scene’s skin, explore all the impulses and create her own musical projects. First were in her early teenage period, where she’s a singer, songwriter and an occasional guitarist, inspired by several industrial bands. Further she continues over Dada-influenced performance shows as she’s a student of painting and contemporary art. By the time she tries to unite sound with a visual art. The connection with music and fine arts was always her main subject. Through her focus on avant garde she dives into a lot of experimental bands mainly created in Berlin as a protest against the political situation. As the regime was a long-lasting issue afflicting her country, that is among many other mainly artistic reasons were her strong connection to the German capital stems from. Matteo Brigatti, aka GANDALF, is one of the founders and resident djs of GENAU, one of the leading techno nights in Northern Italy. After years spent as clubber and amateur dj in the late ’90 and early ‘2000s and truly inspired by Turin underground scene, in 2003 he had the first opportunity to play in public at Docks Home club. After that he started playing in a large number of Turin’s clubs, exploring different styles in his dj sets (electro, prog-house, Chicago house, Detroit techno and minimal). In 2006 he had his first residency in the former night “Mood” every friday at Club Gamma, one of the most important club of the city, playing side by side with some of the most influential international djs, from Jerome Sydenham to Len Faki, from Solomun to Chris Carrier. He’s now resident dj and part of the art direction of the most important city festivals such as Movement Torino and Kappa Futur Festival and he’s been booked as guest in many parties (Dude, Il Suono, Glucose…), and festival around Italy (Nature Beat in Rome, Aurora Festival in Lecce, Forevergreen in Genova and Milan, Bardonite…). In March 2013 he also had the opportunity to play in the most important French techno party, Concrete, and in early 2015 he had his first gig in Berlin at Griessmuhle, followed by an appearance at Karnival Der Kulturen Kreuzberg. In Summer 2015 he as been booked for the "Numa" party in Tokyo, Japan, and in October 2015 he was guest of the infamous "Staub" party in Berlin before returning at About Blank for the "Away meets Genau" party in 2016 and at Kosmonaut in 2017. In April 2017 he returned in Japan where he performed at Dommune and at Unit in Tokyo. After more than ten years spinning music, he decided that now it’s time to start producing his own techno tracks. His first releases have been published between 2013 and 2014 by the french dub techno label Gravite and today he’s committed to produce music on the forecoming Genau Recordings label. His style is made of a mixture of energetic and traveling tracks, deconstructed and re-constructed through the aid of digital technologies (he was one of the first Italian djs to realize the potential of digital djing) and he is well known as a dj that can really understand and become sympathetic with the dancefloor in front of him. London-based live artist, Flaminia, grew up and lived in Rome until 2013, drawing what inspiration she could from her hometown, before making the move to London to pursue her dream of studying electronic music. Her style is characterised by melancholic melodies and kick drums, obscured by harsh distortion. A shadowy exploration, which goes from a densely deep and experimental ambient, to soulless industrial dark techno. Flaminia’s main focus is on performing an analogue-digital live set, using drum machines, synths and Ableton Live DAW. In 2015, she co-founded the label Ways to Die Records together with Train, and it was here that she started to release her own music. Ways to Die has a clear mission to communicate that results and success in life should be achieved through efforts that come from the act of choosing, creating and “doing” which, ultimately, defines who you really are. Fast-forward to 2017, Flaminia launches Ways to Die’s sister label, Metempsychosis Records. Where Ways to Die was founded on the principle of destruction, Metempsychosis lays out its philosophy in line with construction. Gabriele Salerno aka T kode bern in the early 90’ in Rome (IT), approaches into music when he was teenage, every day he needed to hear music feel enveloped by a sound, a melody, a rhythm was something new and he liked, and when something you like doing. Soon he discovers the Electronic music starts high school attending partys in italy, but also in Europe only a few years before the aged, even up to live in Sydney, Australia where he lived for a year. The project started by Gabriele Salerno on March 2015 called “ T Kode “ was born from the idea of the music codes. The music have no rules and can’t have no rules, the music is your rhythm, is how you think it is, words, air, noise, there are no rules to compose it or play it, there are methods that everyone applies to his way of making music, to see music and play it. T kode as taken part in many events like resident or headliner not only in Rome’s clubs and Italians clubs but also foreign as Hungary (Budapest) at Dürer Kert, Spain (Madrid) at Sala Pirandello and Germany (Berlin) at Trésor Club (for wich came out madly in love) and Suicide Circus. T Kode in his own production start to do a careful selection of sounds that reflect the realities of Detroit and Chicago scene, also with references to the old school acid, with modern grooves arrangements. During the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, after many collaborations on the ep’s and remixes made with the close friend Lunatik, T Kode started to written and performed his music by himself, 100% with his ideas and points of views and concept of Techno music. In the beginning of May 2016 T Kode announces the opening of its independent record label called "Stratosphera Records” and he has immediatly released a Digital Ep to lunching his new own label “Stratosphera Records" entitled “Spherical Ep" consists of two tracks: "Sphere1.0" and " Sphere2.0 “. From here T Kode imprinted Stratosphera Records totally with his concept of UNDERGROUND business about vinyls with limited edition copies, but sometimes there may be the opportunity to make even the digital release. Martin Weinel (Founder & Resident of lunatic) is a DJ based in Mainz, Germany. Already as a kid he started listening to electronic music and a few years later he went to his first Techno party's. FJAAK, the Berlin-based trio of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade. Having grown up together in Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, Felix Wagner, Aaron Röbig and Kevin Kozicki began quite early to create all different kinds of music before ending up taking on the city’s heritage – techno – to make it their own. It was back then in 2009 at ‘Gewerbe 15’, their 50 qm shared at studio, where they started to develop their very own distinct sound. The trio first cut their teeth in the electronic music scene by organizing illegal raves in and around Berlin, which eventually led them to run their own techno series – Machine Vibes. Based on all hardware setups and vinyl only sets, the series took them not only to clubs beyond the German capital’s borders but all over Europe, steadily growing their reputation and fanbase. 2014 marked the turning point of FJAAK’s career, when 50Weapons bosses Modeselektor decided to take the young trio under their wings. Mirko Peschiaroli is a young artist born in Rome. At the age of 16 he discovers his passion for electronic music that brings him to the world of clubbing and electronic music. Some years later he finds his identity in the dark and mysterious side of techno. Lady Maru started producing music in 1994 with an electric guitar, some toy percussions and a tascam 4- track recorder .Since then, she has been playing in no wave post punk bands with electronic devices. She started djing in Rome in 2003 for clubs and open parties that slowly grew. Her sound has always varied between harder techno, deeper techno and underground house...depending on the night she would play from 120 to 130 bpm . At the moment she is working as a dj in the weekends and producing mostly deep house and techno tracks with a light psychadelic touch . Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer Luigi Tozzi was strongly influenced by the roman scene and its local artists, many of whom gave a crucial contribution to the birth and growth of the deep techno sound. Luigi’s music has so far been released on the established label Dynamic Reflection as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label Hypnus Records from Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with Dino Sabatini which led to the opportunity to join Outis Music that has released well known artists such as Modern Heads, Brando Lupi, Donato Dozzy among others.

Michal Jablonski comes from Warsaw / Poland. He played at all of Poland’s most important venues for electronic music. Michal’s productions were released on Secret Keywords, Circular Limited, Counter Pulse, Trau-ma, Blackwater, Somewhere, Minicromusic and many more. Within the last years, Michal proved that the scope of his interest and production ability reaches much further than just one genre. He experiments within a broad spectrum ranging from dubstep and drum’n’bass to house, minimal, ambient and his beloved techno. His style in techno can be described as raw energy which sometimes contains the background noise and ambience characteristic for dub techno and industrial off-beat techno . Michal is currently a member of the collective „SLAP” which is very acctive in Poland.

His compositional forms combine elements of sub bass, broken rhythms, and melodic abstractions into a sonic tapestry that existS somewhere between fervor and seance, chaos and artistry. Italian techno Dj and producer, Synthek evolves in Berlin under the wings of his own Natch Records and the residency at Tresor Club. Synthek moved the first steps in his hometown Naples, extending then to the London club scene, before settling in Berlin. Always seeking for new influences, over the past years his musical background had a constant growth, which can be seen through the evolution of his productions and sets, rich of deep rhythmics and powerful, introspective vibes. For the last two years he has made numerous outputs on various labels such as Edec Music, Limited or LC Series. In this brief medical description of the syncope phenomenon is summed the basic concept of the project Synkopheit.” Synkopheit is a project by Paolo Pizzuto, born in Milan, living in Berlin. In Berlin, the city where more than anywhere else the concept of free-parties is close to that of clubbing, Synkopheit grounds a techno project, strongly linked both to his interest in the dancefloor and in the developing of different states of consciousness . In 2011 Synkopheit meets Madalba , a decisive encounter that will bring, three years later, to the grounding of their label Arkita Records. Is on Arkita Rec. that he releases in 2015 his first solo EP “Last edge of realism” along with other productions under the name of Synkomad a.k.a. Giuseppe Scaccia was born 1987 in Frosinone. As a teenager he immediately begins to show a great interest in electronic music. At the age of 14 he begins and follows his collection of Hardcore and Acid vinyls. In 2003, he starts his career in the studio producing with his brother as The Twins Artcore and Alarma Ravers, achieving international success and performing at major events, including the Q- Base. In 2014 he produces something different from the usual, something he had long desired for. And thus D-Leria came to life. Starting with a Roland MC 909, the result was a series of explosive “acid” tracks. By attending the unique underground club of his province ‘Affekt club‘, he meets Alex Dolby, founder and owner of the label ‘Affekt Recordings’. Here he earned the spot as a resident DJ. In addition, he was offered to remix one of his track, ‘liquid tool’. In this project he designed and built a series of episodes made in stop motion created by himself. We can find out ”Reflection”, one of his last production released on Affekt recordings, and “Confusion” released on the australian label Darknet, with remixes by Stanislav Tolkachev, Alex Bau, Pinion.

He started recording in 1990 for Sheffield label Ozone Recordings under the name of Panic with a release called Voices Of Energy, which was then licensed to Buzz in Belgium, Buzz 001. Buzz then went on to release classics by Carl Craig and Derrick May. Aubrey set up his own label in the same year - Solid Groove Records. The label had 30 vinyl releases over thirteen years and tracks were licensed by Derrick May, Terry Francis, Pete Tong, Adam X, and Carl Cox. As well as this he ran four other labels - Textures, Dark, DOT, and Cheap Knob Gags. Recorded Live at Out-ER Showcase at OHM (Berlin) on 26.11.2015 At the age of twelve he became an avid bedroom DJ which taught him the skills that have taken him through a successful and professional career spanning twenty-two years. From his first residency at the Portsmouth club Central Park at eighteen, he soon found himself in London spinning next to Carl Cox, Groove Rider, Colin Dale, Mr. C etc, at such raves as Energy, Raindance, and clubs such as The Astoria, The Gardening Club, The Pirate Club, The Marquee, Turnmills, Deep Space, Ministry Of Sound, Mr. C’s Release partyies and residencies for Fantasy FM and the famous south coast club Sterns. His music tastes are very varied with his first love of Hip Hop as a teenager, moving quickly onto the emerging Acid House scene from Chicago and then to Detroit Techno and New York House. Due to working in record shops he has a big knowledge of all three genres.

Raffaele Attanasio(also X-501(X501)) was born in a family of musicians. He cultivated a passion for music since he has been a child, infact he started to have piano lessons. At the age of 12 he started to take ones first steps in the world of djing and after 5 years he made his first productions. In this period he was really into techno music, electronic music and classical-contemporary composition. In 2007 he took the piano graduation which improves his artistic language. Raffaele Attanasio is a pianist, arranger and producer. During his career he collaborated with artists such as Orlando Voorn for the personal compilation on Nightvision Records. Now he is supported by important artists such as Len Faki, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Kirk Degiorgio, Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Oscar mulero and Dustin Zahn. Raffaele made remixes for Trapez, Gynoid and the last is called Telrae for Reimut Van Bonn. At the moment his success Black Bloc Ep (NON 001, 2011) is on charts. It's the first output on the spanish label. It's about a work made up of solid and snare techno groove. It's also going to come out the remixes version (NON002, 2012).

Larix is undoubtedly one of the most significant artists of techno. DJ, producer and owner of two labels: Stereophonic Recordings and Brainwash on the scene more than a decade, He has firmly established his own distinctive style. Drawing from industrial, dark often broken sounds techno Larix's sets are dynamic, consistent and at the same time surprising. He plays the most important events in Poland Of particular note is his set during the festival Audio City in 2013 alongside the Xhin. He also had the opportunity to perform beyond the borders of our country in Tresor Berlin - the birthplace of techno. After several years of DJing he decided to learn how to produce his own music. Antonio was born in Rome in 1987. Since his childhood he got deeply passioned into the world of electronic music. Fandino, better known as Olliver Fandino is a 23 year old DJ out of Hilversum, and is the proud founder of Unbounded based in Utrecht. The simple attempt of defining it ends up bridling even the farthest idea of prismatic production. Their experience in clubs has taught the two of them the rhythm of night and dawn. But what's inside Outpost – which prolifically unravels – is also the result of an immense study. These are seeds whose mysterious growth cannot be told, but just enjoyed. The journey is concrete and pulses in the nerves of who's in it. Yuka is a female DJ now based in Moscow (where she has lived since 1998), but who began her career in distant Bratsk, Siberia. The town - a local industrial center - is probably more famous for what it dumps than what it makes; in the recent past it was listed as one of the thirty most polluted cities in the world. It wouldn't take much persuasion for someone to move on... Yuka's preparation for a shift to the capital's nightclubs was lengthy, however, since music had played an important role in her life since the age of 6. Over time, her passions moved in the direction of painting, sculpture, and design - activities she continues to this day. That initial school-day enthusiasm at the piano would eventually win out, though, and dictate her choice of higher education. Her musical training thus led to a degree from the Irkutsk Arts Institute, where she no doubt studied under her real name, Irina Solobutova. At the end of 2007 he was selected by Orlando Voorn as a remixer for "Game One" track of the legendary Juan Atkins, subsequently recording with labels such as Shlomi Aber's Be As One, Len Faki’ Figure and the glorious Francois Kevorkian’s Wave Music. No hiding behing masks, no digging in the past, no techno purism, no strive for fame - SUBJECTED stands for distinctly deep, idenfitiable techno. Designed in the shadows, to be consumed in the darkness. A label. Music, and nothing more. Born in Hoyerswerda in 1983, and brought up in the tristesse of Berlin-Hellersdorf, he was strongly socialised by the lower class suburb with its grey, oppressive tower blocks. The first musical attempts he made were in Hip hop and rap, but it wasn't long until he started to be aware of all the progress happening in Berlin in the mid 90's, and got infected by the early club nights in legendary E-werk and Tresor as well as mixtapes from local radiostations. All of this shaped him towards his own musical reinvention. Techno as a possibility of identification, allowed him to find himself. It's the monotony, the uniqueness of the synthetic sound, that enabled Subjected to express himself – starting as a DJ, since 2006 also acting as a producer. This resulted in various projects and the launch of Vault Series in 2010. Ever since their first major successes, Vault Series are a guarantee for dancefloor-oriented tracks, with highly distinctive concepts and structures of sound.

When he was only 14 years old, he already owned a turntable and a mixer. After leaving his hometown his way led to Milan, later to Berlin which to him feels like a “musical home”, nevertheless he resettled in Italy. Troels Knudsen lives in Copenhagen, Denmark and has been immersed in music for most of his life. This focus has mostly been fixed on the club world. And he spent the last 10+ years producing, performing, engineering and dj'ing various electronic genres around Europe and beyond. This activity generated the excentric Pyro drum'n'bass moniker, house works as part of 2400 Operator on Underground Quality and the industrial tinged techno project Northern Structures on Sonic Groove. After a few years of working in groups it was time to get back to solo work. In 2012 the Ctrls project was iniated with the release of the Interface EP on the new homebase Token Records. A remix of Ø/[Phase]'s Binary Opposition was the follow up, and by then Ctrls tracks had worked their way into the sets of some of the most notable techno djs across the world. Troels continues to develop his fast paced and futuristic style, seeking out the various nuances of techno and the surrounding genres. Andreas Sarmanis aka Son Of Man, Dj from Grece based in Rome. Mental techno, ambient, noises and modern sounds.

Conrad Van Orton born in Rome in 1985. His real name is Andrea Zanchetta, and his aka is a Fincher's "The Game" tribute, and a tribute is also the one that gives the name to the label he opens with his partner VSK aka Francesco Visconti: the Consumer Recreation Services Recordings. Since he was just a boy, CVO always been interested in djing, focusing on scratch, and for this reason he follows both the electro music and the Italian rap evolution in the later 90's. In 2000, when he's fifteen he totally goes clubbing, which he anyway followed since Daft Punk's "Homework" album and the purchase of the first Technics' turntables. After some arrangement year between several kind of electronic club-oriented music as House, Italian Progressive and Elcectro House, he identifies in Techno and Minimal Techno his real music personality, also thanks to the rising friendship with VSK. In 2006 they starts to work together in a studio but job, issues and "life stuff" obstructs the project finalization. At the beginning of 2010 some law issue, after a short period in jail, forces CVO to stay several months locked in his house. Here he starts to work on a lot of project, improving his producing technics and focusing all the blue mood, the rage and frustration in the music he creates. The anger, the will to evade (literally), the growing sense of heaviness raised just from the chance to make music every time he wants and all the obstacles he finds on the way to freedom will become his life thread and "main topic" of his sound. Soon his touch becomes darker, industrial and with a definite negative mood. The absence from live clubbing allows him to start an introspection and self oriented path regarding the music he picks for the dj-sets he records in his room, that will be his personal prison until November 2012.

[CONTAINER PODCAST] [17] [VSK] Consumer Recreation Services born in Rome in 2010 thanks to an idea from two artists, Francesco Visconti and Andrea Zanchetta aka VSK,Conrad Van Orton (VSK&CVO) and Vilix. The project is a kind of a box, that contains all Techno' shapes, from deeper sounds to the darker and industrial ones. Besides the two owners, on the label there's space for the newer artists among international Techno soundscape, but the italian one has his reserved corner, particularly the Roman scene, with a precise target: to lay the foundations for the growth of a stable artistic community, oriented to spread the sound of Rome beyond the boundaries of the country. MAX DURANTE is the best Italian electro/techno DJ/producer, he is the true ELECTRO pioneer since the 80's and one of the creators of the true italian techno, he is one of the hinges of the 90's, of the rave generation. He has performed in the best Italian RAVE from 1990 to 1994. From 1994 to 1998, Max was busy performing his DJ shows around Europe. His sound and his presence have been fundamental for the Italian electro/techno scene. He has regularly played in the best clubs and in the best European festivals since 1992. His shows are famous in Europe and thanks to his technique and to his performances, the press has named him: ''THE WIZARD OF THE DECKS'' the magician of the console.

Tomz.db Tommaso Statella, aka Tomz.db, has always had, since childhood, a weakness for buttons and knobs. The idea to make something happen, pushing a simple button, have ever made him crazy. In 2006 founds HSPL, crew of producers with whom he began playing in squats, raves, and clubs. After 2 years, from the merge of HSPL and PBC and the entry of many new artists, founded CROMEDROP Family, a collective that promotes electronic music themed events, surrounded by the most different forms of art. In 2009 creates Provocazioni Festival, an independent art and electronic music festival, attended by more than 5000 people each edition, confirming itself as one of the best independent events in the capital. Cromedrop Records is the last step of the collective, an independent label whose first release on vinyl wants to be, as well as a point of arrival, a starting point for setting new targets, like promoting italian and international artists, and fixing what since many years was recognised in parties as “Cromedrop style”. In 2013 founds “Container”, a club oriented project in wich he’s artistic director and technical responsible. After the first season the monthly party, in wich he’s resident, placed it self as a landmark in the roman techno scene His sets are characterized by old sounds elaborated in contemporary way, he mixes acid, progressive and raw techno creating a very singular path.

CONTAINER PODCAST [26] TERENCE FIXMER *Podcast from CLR Terence Fixmer is one of France’s most treasured protagonists. Respected by his peers and adored by his fans, he is equally at ease in both club and festival settings, capable of traversing the gamut of electronic genres from electro, industrial and EBM to techno in its purest form. Since debuting on DJ Hell’s now seminal International Deejay Gigolo Records back in 1998, Fixmer has consistently explored and redefined the boundaries of modern techno, developing a distinct and fiercely original style along the way. His first album for Gigolo, ‘Muscle Machine’ (1999), lit the way for a new take on more dancefloor-focused EBM music, coined “techno body music”, which he would continue to explore on follow-up records for Gigolo as well as Novamute, Datapunk, Music Man and Dave Clarke’s label White Noise. In 2003 he teamed up with Nitzer Ebb vocalist, Douglas McCarthy, to form Fixmer / McCarthy. A partnership that has resulted in two full-length albums, ‘Between The Devil’ (2004) and ‘Into The Night’ (2008) on Synthetic Symphony, and a series of EPs for his own Planete Rouge Records. The duo have performed their energetic live sets at renowned clubs and festivals all across the globe, simultaneously mining the brutality of techno body music and the sensuality of pop to create truly pioneering sound fusions. Whilst Planete Rouge functioned primarily as an outlet for Fixmer / McCarthy works, in 2011 Fixmer reactivated the label with a string of EPs from Emmanuel Top. Newcomers Alexey Volkov and Hubot have since graced the label, with further releases pegged from Emmanuel Top and Fixmer himself to come. But it is with Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe stable that Fixmer has lately been reinventing himself once again. Landing on the label early on with ‘Machine’ at that start of 2009, he has since put out a series of diverse EPs, moving away from his EMB heritage to explore deep and dubbier climes. In 2010 he released his fourth LP, ‘Comedy of Menace’, a true techno album composed from dark atmospheres and hypnotic energy, received to critical acclaim. Releases on Prologue, Turbo, and CLR have since followed, proving Fixmer’s continued relevance and restless aversion to a singular sound. Meanwhile his records have featured on many notable mixes, including Agoria’s Fabric 57 CD and Ben Klock’s latest compilation for the London institution, as well as podcast from luminaries like Juan Atkins, Laurent Garnier and Jon Hopkins. Artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon & James Ruskin had a major influence on him in the 90ies. They helped to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the techno scene. Kr!z still has a big love for hip hop, which has left it’s mark in his technical dj style: fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches. Being a respected & established value in Belgium for a decade and a resident-dj for Belgium's legendary techno night 'Kozzmozz', his dj-schedule now takes him all over the world. Container Podcast [20] C.7even One Thing is particularly important in C.7evens music: love. Her emotion, passion and dedication drives her crowd on the dancefloor. Considering that she has been rather averse to music as a child, this is a big change. Electronic music in general or techno in particular has never really caught her peculiar interest. Why she took this route by coincidence has been kind of a miracle to her from the beginning. She had her first inspiring contact with House & Techno in 2009 when 2//Jacks an exemplary DJ and producer team from Mainz introduced the music to her. The two guys (mostly DJ Shin) taught her skillful DJing and the required sensitivity for music. Timid curiosity quickly turned into greedy lust, C.7even wanted more. Acts such as Paul db+, Ida Engberg, Peter Eilmes (a.k.a Plattenpeter), Chris Liebing and Ben Klock got more and more interesting to her and influenced her career. C.7even can not be placed into a certain genre. Her sets range from melodic groovy tech house up to dark impulsive techno. But her passion is in propulsive and powerful sound. She is constantly enhancing her mix technique and improves from gig to gig. The legendary U60311 club in Frankfurt, also plays an important role. During her first visit, the euphoria of the underground immediately fascinated her and in July 2011 she finally got her first gig at the beloved U60. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [16] [SIRIO GRY J] Sirio Grimaldi (aka Sirio Gry J) borns in Rome in the late 80's. His love for music comes up seems his childhood, getting refined and renewed through years and experiences. In the early teenage period he starts practicing beatbox as something funny and in the same period he discovers the world of deejaying. His first beats were grabbed from the legendary 90's underground techno, which in Rome area was well known with the VIRUS movement and its raves. From this point the research of new music, going deeper and deeper through very different genres, becomes a constant. Being influenced by such different genres as rock 'n' roll (in particular classic, progressive and psichedelic but also harder stuff such metal and punk), 80's and 90's dance, house, ambient, trip hop, popular music, industrial, breakbeat and techno, he provides a wide range of sounds in his sets, going from great lounge and chill out tunes, to deep and minimal beats getting involved with techno grooves. After having a good career in deejaying with his italian crew "Techlab", he moved to London where he could go deeper and deeper in the underground scene of the british city. There he could refine more his taste, make his view about music way wider gig in venues such as Pacha, The Egg, Cafè 1001, Russian Bar also collaborating with artists like Claus Voigtmann (from Toi.Toi musik), Synhtek and Frankyeffe (Truesoul) and Knobs (Nachtstrom Schallplatten). Now working for the management of the Roman label Black Sam Records he is producing tracks for labels like Kaputt, Plettro, Slowpitch and moved in Berlin where he's deeply involved with the local underground stages. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [15] [STEFANO ROCCHI] Nato a Roma alla fine degli anni ’80, cresce costantemente accompagnato da musica grazie l’aiuto del fratello maggiore Riccardo Rocchi che, in primis come Dj e successivamente con suoni più armoniosi di chitarre e l’ascolto profondo di colonne sonore, non fa mai mancare la materia in casa. Tutto ciò influenza molto il giovane e la carriera musicale di Stefano Rocchi comincia un pò per gioco con dei “beatbox” improvvisati nell’ormai lontano 2006, sempre insieme al suo amico e ora collega Sirio Gry J. Molto appassionato anche nel campo della grafica, comincia realmente a tastare il mondo della musica elettronica pochi anni fa, migliorando sempre più tecniche di scrittura musicale tramite software e interessandosi sull’aspetto della qualità sonora; non mancano così studi extra per quanto riguarda l’acustica, prove pratiche nell’assemblaggio di impianti e attenta cura nei dettagli hardware. Il sound che risalta i suoi Dj set è marchiato da un carattere Techno, dovuto proprio ai primissimi ascolti adolescenziali stile Detroit, a una Chicago House più allegra, senza tralasciare un pò la Minimal, suoni sperimentali e sfumature che arrivano fino al Rock. Tornato di recente da un’esperienza in Spagna, ha avuto la possibilità di far girare le sue produzioni con delle Netlabel come Ephedrina e Stato Elettrico, ma in un futuro molto prossimo non mancheranno altre uscite su promettenti etichette, come la Stencil Recordings. La musica è una passione e Stefano vuole come prima cosa trasmettere le sue emozioni; con alle spalle già diverse serate in locali della capitale quali Rashomon, Circolo degli Illuminati e Bibliotechina, spingerà sempre più per emergere nell’underground del clubbing italiano ed europeo, realizzando ultimamente anche performance Liveset. She bought her turntables in 1998 and has been mixing vinyl ever since, having played records in many techno clubs all over the UK and internationally in places like Berlin, Athens, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Glasgow, Dublin, Amsterdam in recent years. DJ Skirt started producing her own music in 2001 and has released records on Horizontal Ground, Frozen Border, Semantica and remixes on labels such as Semantica, Perc Trax and Sect. Her production style is somewhat different to her DJ approach. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [11] [SURGEON] *Podcast from Rinse FM broadcast Birmingham techno artist Anthony Child has rapidly built a solid and, to a certain extent, innovative catalog of minimal dancefloor techno since his Surgeon releases began appearing in 1991. Compared favorably with Detroit original Jeff Mills from his earliest Downwards singles on forward, Child's tracks have been a mainstay in the popular Motor City DJ's sets. Although Surgeon releases have worked an increasing affectation for acid and trance, an economy of sound and basic hardness combine his and Mills' sound. A noted and increasingly popular DJ himself, Child grokked his skills from hip-hop and electro jocks ("Tour de France" is a mainstay of his DJ sets), filling out his style with a driving toughness and appreciation for rapid cutting and flipping. Surgeon's entry into production was also noteworthy; urged on by producer Mick Harris (Child is a fan of Harris' Scorn project), the former Napalm Death drummer locked Child in his tiny studio, imploring him to "go mad." The result, the self-titled debut EP, was released on Downwards, and was instantly hailed as some of the highest quality U.K. techno of its time. Releases for Soma, Blueprint, Ideal Trax, and the ultra-exclusive Tresor label followed, with the debut LP, Basic Tonal Vocabulary, appearing on Tresor in 1997. Balance followed in 1998, as did Force & Form in 1999. More recent additions to his repertoire include releases on his Counterbalance imprint as well as collaborations with Regis as British Murder Boys, resulting in tracks which take a tone far darker, denser, and more industrial than those from his Tresor years. Equally influenced by early electro-pop innovators like Tomita and YMO, experimental groups like Can, Faust, and Suicide, and the tough grit of American electro and techno (Robert Hood, Hashim), Surgeon's mash-up is both straightforward and subtly experimental. When he was 15 he started as a drummer in a small rockn`n roll garage band. He also tried himself as a Jungle Mc , and he also had a few chances to show his skillz at some small Drum & Bass Partys in Stuttgart ! But after a few times of trying he needed a new challenge! Back in the days of 2000 Francesco discovered that music is his beloved way to communicate to people and started to get into playing dark psytrance records down in the South of Germany. 2007 was his year to switch to Techno music to develop his own style of underground and non-commercial sound and since then he released on different labels such as Plastiq, Das Ohr and Italo Business, Truth Tracks . In 2010 he moved to Berlin with the idea to study sound engineering and got hit by the full force of the city's underground quality. Soon later he began playing in clubs like Tresor and Arena touching the heart of many fans who are following him and his ambitious statement to bring back the underground where it belongs to. To underline his position he became a resident of Montech at SO36. He describes his music as being dark and mystique, highly energetic with driving beats and a touch of Psychedelic! [CONTAINER PODCAST] [08][LEO ANIBALDI] Leo was born in 1972 and at the age of 15 discovered his passion for electronic music. Thanks to the advent of the first computers like Commodore Vic 20 and 64, he began to create his first loops. After one year Leo started to play in Rome outskint’s clubs under the pseudonym Dj Mc, when was impossibile to find in Rome any trace of electronic beat. He became a big analogue synths collector and decided to spend his daily life into the creation of beats and sound research. In 1990 his recordings career stared at ACV records where he will make more then 20 seminal albums like Attack Random, Riders of the future, Noise Generation, Muta, Cannibald and Aeon. In 1991 Leo met Lory D and in a small garage located in the north of Rome they started the alternative music movement universally known as The Sound of Rome, who spreaded Techno music in Rome and all over Italy. In those years Leo concentrated in bringing his analogue Live set around the world as he played in the best techno parties like one of the first Love Parade edition in Berlin. In 1995 Leo decided to cut the relation with Acv records and moved to Rephlex, label of his friend Aphex Twin where he will make the Album Void. The end of the century saw Leo running the the illegal rave scene in Rome at Fintek, pushing his sounds further new limits until time for a break arrived with fast sound and restless lifestyle. Time to set up a new studio and a succesfull series of gigs in Rome (including a liveset back to back with Aphex Twin at Brancaleone or the ones with Dave clark & Speedy J…), just enouff time to recup with the techno scene & in 2005 Leo recorded his first single for a new project: Cannibald Records. Follow us on www.facebook.com/Container.project.Roma Starts his career as a Dee Jay, in the far 1985, when the music of the dancefloors was spacing on several fontiers requesting skills that are actually fundamental for the djing, like versatility, technique and a good taste. At the end of the 80's, with the advent of acid house and then the techno, he starts also to compose music for the storic roman label ACV, remaining, toghether with Leo Anbaldi, Robert Armani, one of its exponents until 1994. His productions are various, and we can remeber: "Power" - "Escape from Italy" in 1991, "Lost Paradise" in 1992 and "What is Techno" in 1994. In the meanwhile he partecipied to all Rave Parties of those years, and suddenly (from 95 to our days) to all most important musical events that took place in the centre and nord of Italy. He was also dj resident in clubs like "Club Imperiale" (Tirrenia-Pisa), the "Cyborg" (Attigliano-TR) and "Arabes" (Civita Castellana-VT), gathering agreement by all, not only for his music but also for his approach with the audience. Until the 2004 winter, toghether with Dj SaY (creator and promoter of the brand), he was protagonist of the electronic music nights "Sensorial", and in the radiophonic mixed program "Selecta" on the roman emittent Radio Centro Suono. Until 2010he was resident once a month in the XDOX Club in Turin. Actually he is also a tutor in school for djs and sometimes plays@MUZAK CLUB (testaccio-rome) with the MINIMAL ROME crew. soon new production style progressive/neotrance on vinyl with a new secret label...

[CONTAINER PODCAST] [04] [MANUEL GRIPPA] Manuel, born in 1982, always had a big interest for every kind of music. His passion for electronic music began at the age of 16 following UK Idm scene and artists like Autechre and Aphex Twin. From that point he never stopped discovering new artists, vibes and compositions. Later he started studying some digital way to create sounds with the most popular softwares, and to complete his knoweledge he picked an analogue drum machine. After some years spent into italian warehouse party scene, he moved to Berlin where he directely met clubkultur and new dimensions of sounds that completely fascinated him. As a huge collector of music Manuel is always buying tracks in every format, he believe that electronic sounds recalls music at his purest and naked form. His dj-sets are a mixture of rhytmic sequencies, ambient structures and tribal atmospheres. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [03] [MISS LOONY] Miss Loony aka Jordi da sempre attiva nell’organizzazione di eventi musicali, si forma e nasce come dj nella seconda metà degli anni novanta all’interno del Forte Prenestino dove è dj resident per oltre un decennio. Nel 1999 fonda “Eva Kant dj project” un progetto tutto al femminile che segna una tappa fondamentale e rappresenta un’esperienza veramente significativa nel movimento techno underground romano e non solo di quegli anni. Nel tempo Eva Kant si scinde in diverse progettualità e nel 2006 Miss Loony insieme ad un’altra dj KillingZoe fonda MissAnthroPeak Pj. Con il nuovo progetto è un susseguirsi di interessanti ed incisivi eventi dove la scena è gestita unicamente da donne coinvolgendo comunque sempre un pubblico eterogeneo, ricordiamo tra le molteplici iniziative Shake the Desease e TechnoMantika. La sua musica è un mix di sonorità techno e il suo stile è molto diretto e pulito. Negli anni ha diviso il palco con nomi del calibro di Ellen Allien, Vitalic, Ivan Smagghe, Motor ,Extrawelt, Anthony Rother, Xenia Beliayeva, Max Durante, Franz&Shape…..and more….. e portato la sua musica in molte città d’europa fino ad arrivare in Giappone. Miss Loony è tra gli ideatori ed organizzatori di “ELECTRODE” Festival Indipendente di Musica Elettronica che si tiene al Forte Prenestino a Roma. He bought his first drum machine and began playing with sounds in 2005 inspired by live sets. He has a strong break influence in his music coming from Hip Hop as a child as well as Drum & Bass and Dubstep later in his life. He experimented producing various genres of electronic music from Trip Hop, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Dubstep to Hardtechno and discovered and focused on Minimal and Techno beats in 2008. He chose the name Knobs because the first time he used a drum machine skipping school in a pub he was fascinated by the use of the knobs. He fell in love with fumbling with machines and this love eventually struck a greater love which he expressed through making his own music. From then on his love grows and grows.
