Rayshard Brooks Shooting – Officers Charged

Facing mounting public pressure, last week Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard charged the two Atlanta police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Rayshard Brooks, a man found sleeping behind the wheel of his car in a fast food drive-thru line. Court TV’s Ted Rowlands joins us to update us the latest developments, including the charges the two officers are facing. This is an emotionally charged case that poses a number of challenging questions. Should the officers have even tried to arrest Brooks, or should he have just been ticketed and escorted home? Vinnie will debate that issue with special guest Atlanta defense attorney Ecleynne Mercy and give us his take on whether or not the re-election campaign of Paul Howard may be having too much of an influence on this case.
