Barriers to an Awakened Heart

This podcast is a recording of a talk I gave at a retreat day for students and alumni of St. Catherine's Master of Theology program.  The them eof the retreat day was "The Gift of an Awakened Heart."  In this talk, the first of the day, I discuss what I mean by an "awakened heart" and then talk about barriers to our living out of an awakened heart.  The pocast runs for 40:25.
