Businessman Nathan McDonnell who has been charged in connection with the discovery of €32.8 million worth of crystal meth at Cork Port is being housed on the A4 wing at Portlaoise jail after being taken off a restricted regime behind bars.
Refused bail by the High Court he is now sharing a wing with notorious neighbours including a man convicted in connection with the Keane Mulready-Woods murder and the notorious Limerick inmate Red Larry McCarthy.
