A man who set a Garda car on fire during the Dublin riots has landed a six and a half year jail term despite pleading guilty to arson and criminal damage.
Declan Donaghey apologised to the Government but a Judge said she didn’t accept that he acted in a moment of madness.
As he was led away the 28 year old shouted scumbags at Gardai and supporters were removed by the public order unit.
Nicola speaks to Eimear Rabbitte about the sentence.
