Beast Within Part 3

The crew of the Ransom have made their way to the top floor of the ship. The floor appears to be cracked with plant life forming between the crevices and growing across the ground. Very unnatural and unsettling, they press onwards. What could be held above within this ship and what could be causing all of this abominations?
