Welcome to the 27th episode of the Confined Spaces Radio Show. This is a very special episode so I decided to change the usual concept of the show. When I invited our tonight’s guest to record a mix for us I didn’t expect that we’re gonna get a proper treat. I was so excited for this show and it is a great honour to have him with us tonight, ladies and gents, Ibiza Sonica Radio boss Igor Marijuan is my guest tonight. I was expecting to receive the usual one hour mix but Igor sent the live set he played in Nido Ibiza at Las Dalias on February 23rd and since I loved the entire set, I decided to play it entirely in the show and cut out my part completely.
Igor Marijuan is a Co-founder and artist director of Ibiza Sonica since the beginning. Akasha Ibiza music director, Playground camp Burning Man music curator. Pareidolia promoter with events in Tulum, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Ibiza. Monad.social brand ambassador.
Igor Marijuan is easily recognized by his voice and his unique style of presenting. He has opened up the world of broadcasting and hosted countless parties, from the biggest clubs in Ibiza, festivals and events in the world such as ADE, BPM, Time Warp and Creamfields, SONAR, only to name a few. He uses a great deal of groundbreaking platforms like the radio Ibiza Sonica he founded 15 years ago or the brand new monad social, from inside the booths, at the clubs.
With residencies at Akasha where he does the complete curation and previously at Rumors, Do not Sit, Acid Sundays, Space Ibiza, Solomun + live, Dystopia at Ushuaia among others. On the decks, he describes his sessions as a perfect balance between easy listening and smart sounds. His calling card is a variety of styles from deep to organic, afro or tech melodic, but basically house music that have taken him to cities like Berlin, Beijing, Sao Paulo, Mexico DF, Buenos Aires, Dusseldorf, Lima, Dubai, Zurich, Moscow, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Miami, Milano or Paris.

First of all, happy Christmas everyone and welcome to the 25th episode of my Confined Spaces Radio Show. As you can see, this last episode of 2022 is getting aired on Monday and not on Tuesday as usual. Bloop has scheduled some maintenance for Tuesday so we had to move this episode to Monday. Also, my guest had to pull out of the show and reschedule for some other time so, I figured, why not do a 2 hours Christmas special on my own. Not only that…. Why don’t we change the tone of the show as well and play something completely different? Soulful House and Disco is on the menu for the entire show tonight and I hope you’re gonna like it. This set was recorded live in the Electric Circus in Dublin this past Saturday. Enjoy.
Welcome to the Confined Spaces Radios Show. Celebrating the 2nd anniversary of my show on Bloop London Radio with a very special 24th episode with an amazing guest from New Zealand.
We have had some amazing guests in the past 2 years and I would like to thank all of them for taking the time and sharing their mixes with us but, also, a very special thanks to all of you who were and still are listening and supporting me all this time.
Andres Eichenbaum aka Eichenbaum musical journey began post 90s, a teenage son of Argentina, immersed in the Progressive Rock and Jazz scenes of Buenos Aires. For the last 10 or so years he has lived on Waiheke Island, New Zealand. He’s performing regularly at a wide range of events and festivals around the country but also internationally.
Behind the stage, Eichenbaum mixes had appearances in international radio shows focused on Progressive House such as Metrodance, Frisky Radio, Wildwood Podcast Series and tonight he is with us on the Bloop London Radio.

It is the 4th Tuesday of the month and that can mean only one thing. It is time for the 23rd episode of my Confined Spaces Radio Show. It is a great pleasure to have one of the Croatian clubbing legends, Felver, joining me from 11PM (BST) and I’ll be kicking off at 10PM (BST). Felver is on the scene for more than 15 years and, I dare to say that, he definitely was one of the few DJs who helped shape the Croatian capital and Croatian clubbing scene in general. Alongside #Innervisions @dixon_ , Felver is a founder of the Croatian legendary anual @stereotip.stereotip party. His dark but at the same time warm selection makes every crowd fall in love with him. Don’t forget to tune in on Bloop London Radio website from 10PM (BST).
Welcome to the 22nd episode of my Confined Spaces Radio Show. My guest for the last hour of this episode is the young producer Gavin Rochford. Melodic House lover from the West of Ireland, Gavin Rochford has gone from strength to strength. Winning Henry Saiz’ Natura Sonoris label competition and releasing the track “All In Flavour” in 2020 was a milestone that continued momentum which had already started to build in the young artist’s career. From his residency with Melodic Dublin which has seen him share line-ups with the likes of Sebastien Leger, Guy J and Nick Warren, to releasing on labels like Hoj & Lee Burridge’s imprint Tale & Tone. Ladies and gents, for the next hour, Gavin Rochford. Enjoy!

This week we’re bringing you another amazing mix from our London based friend Joone. He is a DJ, Producer and label owner based in North London. His first solo EP, Infinites Between, was released on his label Acrylic on Canvas, showcasing a diversity of sounds with a truly raw edge coated with underground tones. His tracks ghostshells and 005 appeared on the yearly compilation of Hungary’s upcoming underground electronic label Secret Fusion, gaining support across dance floors internationally. On remix duties he took over Berlin artist Kat Koan’s single ‘Lustfire’, delivering his signature angular sound, incorporating influences from synth wave and break beat.
Joone’s exit aquarius EP is his next solo material to come out on brazilian label, Living Like Birds, followed by the affair, a hugely successful track which became one of the most heavily played songs during the 2020 tulum season.
His most recent work, entitled Mutable Character, is coming out on Toto Chiavetta’s Label Borders of Light. This EP has gained an array of support from prominent dj’s globally, including: Dixon, Lehar, Musumeci, Denis Hovart, to name a few. Joone does not limit himself to one sound profile, however; his disco side project, under the name ‘Quattrovalvole’ has been releasing on labels such as: Disco Halal, Secret Fusion, Oraculo Records and Acrylic on Canvas.

Hi guys. Welcome to the 20th episode of my Confined Spaces Radio Show. It looks like the summer is really taking a toll on my show this year. The guest I was supposed to have tonight cancelled the last minute because of the busy schedule they have. It is not something I like or approve but it is what it is so, for the second time in the raw, you are doomed to listen to my selection for the entire show. I wanna use this opportunity to invite all of you young DJ’s, in case you like what we are trying to promote here, to DM us on Soundcloud, Facebook or Instagram if you think your music deserves to be heard in my show. Enjoy and don’t forget to give some love.

My guest for the last hour of the show is Italian Raffaele Marchitelli. A DJ and producer from Italy. His music is inspired by the sounds of the mountains, where he was born and raised. In his musical productions you can hear metallic and acute experimental sounds.
His love for nature leads him to search for continuous emotions and sensations to transmit. This led Marchitelli to work with various projects and artists who helped him discover his essence. When I asked him about his releases he said that the last and also the most important release for him was his last EP called Freeing on Borders Of Light which is owned by the Italian master of dark sounds, Toto Chiavetta. -->Hi peeps….. Welcome to the 14th episode the Confined Spaces Radio Show. My tonight’s guest is Larmour from Liverpool. Music producer and abstract artist Larmour is on a voyage into the spheres of electronic music and art.. His sound is a heady and intoxicating rush of future nostalgia that leans into moody eighties synth work, tight electro rhythms and euphoric old school breaks.
His superb release ‘Inside Out’ smashed it’s way to the top of various charts and into the boxes of DJ giants such as Sasha. Also, his sound has found homes on melodic house labels such as Terakt Records, OSCILLATE, 10 Steps North and 64K recordings. Recently, he has been fusing his more left-field music with art in intriguing new ways, and his first ambient project features a new vocal collaboration and a killer line up of remixers. With the backing of big names in the industry and determination to push himself ever onwards, the future looks as vibrant and exhilarating as his music.

Welcome to the 13th episode of the Confined Spaces Radio Show. My guest in this episode is DUBOKO Deep, alias DJ Satz, from Zagreb, Croatia. His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (which means “Deep” in Croatian). Through his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, brooding baselines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. His passion for music is to explore and mix so Deep musical languages.

#house #deephouse #indie #indiedanceWelcome to the 10th episode of the Confined Spaces Radio Show. For tonight I have a super special guest for the last hour of the show. I was chasing this guy for quite some time and finally he’s accepted my invitation to be my guest tonight, Secret Fusion boss SouveQ from Hungary. I really don’t remember how we’ve decided to play what you’re gonna hear in this episode and I cant wait to see your reactions. I think it all started when Lazlo asked me what shall he play and I said, as a joke, soulful, funky, disco, house and he said he will if I will play it as well so here it is. SouveQ is a well-established DJ and producer who has a lot of projects under his belt. He was influenced by a wide range of musical genres from soul-funk to hip hop to New York’s underground house, which can be persistently heard in his production. From 2019 he’s the label manager of Secret Fusion Recordings. He represents a new generation of Hungarian electronic music producers alongside their compatriots Secret Factory and many more.

Welcome to the 8th episode of the Confined Spaces Radio show. My todays guests are my dear friends Between Ourselves. By my opinion, the lads are among the top 5 Irish producers at the moment. Between Ourselves is an Irish duo based in Waterford, consisting of Davin Coady and Geoff Foley. Starting with a debut EP on RePublik Music Recordings which includes a stunning remix from Innervisions artist Aera, and a following EP out on Galaktika Records, the lads have gone on to release music on labels such as, Engrave Ltd the notorious Italian label run by Musumeci & Dodi Palese, No Way Records, Addicted Music and Dance Artifakts. 2018 also saw their debut vinyl release on Berlin based label Best Works Records run by Andre Lodemann & Daniel Best, which includes a punchy edit from Andre himself and a monstrous remix from Berlin based producer Ruede Hagelstein. The duo have gained massive support locally and globally within the last 3 years with the likes of Dixon, Ame, Frankey & Sandrino, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Mano le Tough, The Drifter, Job Jobse, Kris Davis and many more displaying their music on dance floors worldwide. Make sure to keep an ear out for the guys as they continue to work on new productions and live sets for the future.
For those of you who missed the live show, here is the 7th episode of the Confined Spaces Radio Show. You can hear my mix in the first hour and in the second my guest was UK based duo Quattrovalvole.
Future Past Disco Drive project designed by Joone & Miss Zagato. Joone was my guest a few months back and he also did an amazing remix of my track Destination from my last EP. As I said so many times in my show, Joone is, by my opinion, one of the most talented producers on the scene at the moment. If you go on Beatport, I think there is not a single chart where you won’t see his name, one way or the other. Four to the floor Italo-disco, glossy 80s new wave, Quattrovalvole is an afterdark lifestyle.

Please meet Viktor Marina. He´s a Dublin based DJ/Producer who’s the founder and resident at Deep House Dublin. Marina just released Destination House EP including two brilliant deep house tunes and a superb indie dance remix by our newest super homie Joone on our Plano B Records label.
Welcome to the 5th episode of the Confined Spaces Radio Show. My guests in this new episode are Hungarian/Bosnian producer duo All Eyes On You. You can hear their mix in the last hour of the show. For the first part, I’ve selected 12 tracks and this episode is kind of special for me. The reason for that is that I can finally officially announce my 2nd EP that is gonna be released on March 31st on Plano B Records. The 3 tracks EP is called Destination House, with 2 original tracks and 1 superb remix by my friend Joone. We’re kicking off todays show with the track called Destination and closing the first part of the show with the second track from my upcoming EP, the track called Nights Of Our Lives. Enjoy.
All Eyes On You:
At the heart of every good story lies a captivating beginning. Hungarian & Bosnian electronic producer duo All Eyes On You debuted in 2020 with “Pango EP” on alluring UK label Paradiso Records, topping Beatport charts with support from artists like Glowal, Perel, Marc DePulse , SouveQ and many more. They opened 2021 with a release on Weirdos Records called ‘Never Before’. With a sound reminiscent of the 80s, they mix darker disco elements with italo, and melodic touches.

As we’re trying to bring back our GAFF LIVE SESSIONS to a weekly stream again, we’ve decided to invite our favourite Dublin’s DJ family, Collie and his dad Charlie for our new number 1 stream. Since the live video have received amazing response we’ve decided to share this superb 1,5 hours mix with you guys on the Soundcloud as well. Enjoy.
Its been awhile since DHD headhonchos joined forces behind the decks. Here is the recording of our legendary live stream sessions from last week. Enjoy
Back at it again but this year I’ve made it full 3 days. Good job me. So proud of myself…NOT. At least I’m consistent with this. This is the second year I’m doing the Sobber January mix and I absolutely love it. I hope you’re gonna give it a chance. Enjoy.
This is probably the only mix without any new tracks that I’ve ever recorded. Since its the end of the year I’ve decided to dig….dig deeper and I’m so happy that I did because I came across some unbelivable gems from 80s, 90s and 2000s. the mix is very slow but I hope you’re gonna like it.
Happy Christmas folks <3
My new mix has just landed. These are my favorite tracks at the moment. One and a half hour of electro/italo infused darkness. I hope you’re gonna like the mix. Enjoy
After a short break I’m back with my regular podcasts. This one is very special to me. I’m over the moon for being invited to do a mix for my favorite radio station….Ibiza Sonica Radio. Enjoy.
My first mix in 2019. It has been recorded during our Live stream from the Deep House Dublin gaff. Its dedicated to all dry January fighters out there. Enjoy!

DHD Live Livingroom Sessions #16 presents Waterford’s production sensation Between Ourselves. Their tracks have already been noticed and played by one of the KEINEMUSIK bosses, &ME in his radio shows.
A Waterford based trio, consisting of Geoff Foley, Stephen O’ Keeffe and Davin Coady, formed from their mutual passion and love for electronic music. Meeting at local nights, such as RePublik and The Club Sessions, the three instantly clicked and decided to work together. Geoff and Stephen had been organising their own Esoteric events and Davin had been learning production from a young age, it made sense to the three that they should collaborate. Now with remixes on Three Hands Records and a debut EP on RePublik Music Recordings including a stunning remix from Innervisions/Maeve artist Aera, the lads have gained a lot of support locally and globally with the likes of Frankey & Sandrino, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Mano le Tough, The Drifter, Job Jobse, Kris Davis and many more displaying their music on dance floors worldwide. Keep an ear out as they continue to work on new productions and live sets for the future.

Essex slo-mo sex machine, a true rare gems digger, an amateur, as he calls himself, who does this just for fun and spreading wonderful music. Well, at least that was his plan but it seems that there are many people around the globe that like what he does. His mixes on Soundcloud are so smooth and selection breathtaking. To be honest, it was really hard to write anything about him because he prefers that his music speaks instead of him. During last few months while I was abusing him for his tracklists, we became sort of friends so we invited him to record a mix for DHD International Series and here it is. Enjoy!

On January the 26th, Dublin’s Melodic are celebrating their 6th Birthday with Lindstrøm [Live] & Luca Bacchetti at Yamamori Tengu. That was reason enough to invite Melodic residents Ste Flynn and Carl Dunne to join us in our 11th Living Room Session next Monday.
From humble beginnings come great things. Melodic is 6. It has grown from a one-off party in a 150 capacity basement into one of Dublin’s most respected clubbing brands.Melodic has thrown parties in practically every club in the city, brought their sound around Europe – from London to Ibiza and Berlin. More recently, they have settled comfortably into a monthly residency in the intimate surrounds of Yamamori Tengu.
Founders Mulljoy have carefully curated their events from the beginning. They have had the pleasure of debuting many acts and welcoming some of their own heroes into the booth for some hugely memorable nights. Stand out acts over the years include Guy J, Nick Warren, François K, Ian Pooley, Patrice Baumel, Aril Brikha, Kenny Larkin, Ripperton, Marc Romboy, Kölsch, Sebo K … to name a few.
“Given the occasion, we felt it appropriate to celebrate it properly and have enlisted the help of two of our very favourite DJ / Producers in Lindstrom and Luca Bacchetti. Two very different acts but two very much at the top of their game in each of their respected musical fields. One is the undisputed Space-Disco King. The other a master of deep, rhythmic melody.”
“We urge you to join us in celebrating 6 years on January 26th across two floors in Yamamori Tengu. It will be house, techno, disco, deep, emotive – but always Melodic.”
His mixes are truly mesmerising. His musical journeys have gained huge fun base accross the globe and you’ll see why everyone calls him a ‘Day Dreamer’. After chasing him for few months, he finally found some time to do a mix for our International Series. Ladies and gents…our dear friend from sunny Portugal, M Bryan. Enjoy!
Disco is a musical style originating in the early 1970s that remained urban and largely underground until the middle of the decade when it began to emerge from America’s urban nightlife scene, where it had been curtailed to house parties and makeshift discotheques, and began making regular appearances mainstream, gaining popularity and increasing airplay on radio. It achieved popularity during the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. Its initial audiences in the U.S. were club-goers from the gay, African American, Italian American,[1][2] Latino, and psychedelic communities in Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York City during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Disco can be seen as a reaction against both the domination of rock music and the stigmatization of dance music by the counterculture during this period. Disco was popular with both men and women from many different backgrounds, with dances including the Bump and the Hustle.
The disco sound often has several components, a “four-on-the-floor” beat, an eighth note (quaver) or 16th note (semi-quaver) hi-hat pattern with an open hi-hat on the off-beat, and a prominent, syncopated electric bass line. In most disco tracks, string sections, horns, electric piano, and electric rhythm guitars create a lush background sound. Orchestral instruments such as the flute are often used for solo melodies, and lead guitar is less frequently used in disco than in rock. Many disco songs use electronic synthesizers, particularly in the late 1970s.
Well-known 1970s and 1980s disco performers included: Vicki Sue Robinson, Yvonne Elliman, Grace Jones, Divine, Lime, Thelma Houston, Diana Ross, Cher, Cheryl Lynn, Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, Boney M., Claudja Barry, Billy Ocean, Cerrone, Dan Hartman, Madonna, Miquel Brown, Chaka Khan, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Trammps, Marlena Shaw, Sylvester, Village People, Gloria Gaynor, Amii Stewart, and Chic. While performers and singers garnered much public attention, record producers working behind the scenes played an important role in developing the “disco sound”. Many non-disco artists recorded disco songs at the height of disco’s popularity, and films such as Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Thank God It’s Friday (1978) contributed to disco’s rise in mainstream popularity. Disco was the last mass popular music movement that was driven by the baby boom generation. Disco was a worldwide phenomenon, but its popularity drastically declined in the United States in 1980, and by 1982 it had lost most of its mainstream popularity in the states. Disco Demolition Night, an anti-disco protest held in Chicago on July 12, 1979, remains the most well-known of several “backlash” incidents across the country that symbolized disco’s declining fortune.
By the late 1970s, most major U.S. cities had thriving disco club scenes, where DJs would mix a seamless sequence of dance records. Studio 54, a venue popular among celebrities, is a well-known example of a disco club. Popular dances included the Hustle, a sexually suggestive dance. Discotheque-goers often wore expensive, extravagant and sexy fashions. There was also a thriving drug subculture in the disco scene, particularly for drugs that would enhance the experience of dancing to the loud music and the flashing lights, such as cocaine and Quaaludes, a drug that was so common in disco subculture that it was nicknamed “disco biscuits”. Disco clubs were also sometimes associated with promiscuity.
Disco was a key influence in the later development of electronic dance music and house music. Disco has had several revivals, including in 2005 with Madonna‘s highly successful album Confessions on a Dance Floor, and again in 2013 and 2014, as disco-styled songs by artists like Daft Punk (with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers), Justin Timberlake, Breakbot, and Bruno Mars—notably Mars’ “Uptown Funk“—filled the pop charts in the UK and the US.
Originally from Russia St Petersburg, Alex was studying music since she was 6 years old. With piano being her favourite instrument, classical music definitely had impact on her musical preferences now. She moved to Dublin to get her degree in Interior design and Architecture in Griffith College. After finishing college she changed her professional career completely. Started DJing on a local radio station and raves. At the moment she is studying music business in Ballyfermot College, focusing on her career growth as a DJ, producer and event organiser. At the moment she is working on a project called AXXS Visual and Performing arts. Their upcoming event is in the generator hostel on the 16th of December. ”It is going to be a different way of experiencing techno as we are combining art of music and visuals. Projection mapping is an important part of the event”, says Alex as we spoke to her just after her yesterdays gig in District 8 where she player with Nicole Moudaber.
Her style of music is innovative techno.
Vladimir Miler Jr. is a Croatian DJ with Dublin address, born in the 80’s. He’s been involved in electronic music scene since the late nineties. Vladimir is a religious record buyer and entertainer with a distinguished taste in music, from house to techno, from deep to acid. The music Vladimir plays is on the edge. Not too fast, not too slow, not too hard, not too mellow. Promoter of raves, club nights, concerts & festivals. Being involved with the scene for such a long time makes him a chronicler of times as well.
Antonio is a DJ/Producer/Promoter born in Caracas, Venezuela. When young Mr Rincon was 15 years old he started to attend to his first events and get more and more involved in the techno movement. This is how his passion to DJ’ing began. In 2003 he start to create and mix his first set’s and mainly develop his own musical style. Being unique was always something that he really wanted to achieve. That’s why his mixes are distinguish for being energetic, powerful and without leaving behind that “groove” for which Latin’s are better known. In 2013 Antonio has moved to Ireland, and got involved in the local Techno scene leading him to expand his career as a DJ in the heart of Irish capital. He was a creator and resident DJ at his “Deep Forest Night” which took place every week in the famous Turks Head Club. Antonio had the opportunity to share the decks with many internationals and locals as Redd, Siasia, Jurek Przezdziecki, Arte Artur, Klaudia Gawlas, Egbert, Marcel Reix, and many more.
Declan fell in love with dance music at an early age, he grew up listening to mix tapes handed down from his cousin who went to the Asylum/Sides and the Olympic ball room which was where the dublin /irish dance scene emerged. He didn’t realise he wanted to be a DJ until he attended his first rave in the legendary Ormond multi media centre. It was an under 18s dance event with DJs Orbit, Keno Flanagan,DJ Pressure and MC Danny Kearns.. “ It is what he had been looking for and finally he was in a place were he felt he belonged” From that night on he knew what his calling in life was.
Aquiring a set of Decks became Dec’s top priority, so he landed his first summer job and started saving. Buying records became an addiction, he would race in on Thursday evening to Abbey Discs to get his hands on the newest releases, Music Power, Tag and HMV were also on his hit list for new music and he didn’t stop there, Friday Saturday & Sunday were also record days.
He spent most of his youth perfecting the art of mixing and playing at house parties or anywhere the opportunity came about to play and share new music. Dec was asked to come on as a guest DJ on Nova Fm’s DJ Tempo’s show, from that experience Dec got the radio bug and decided he wanted his own show. Kiss Fm, Dublin was where he began his first radio show. He hosted this show Every Thursday night and was privy to a lot of exclusive music kept by especially for him by his close friend who worked in Abbey Discs.. He felt great pride at the fact that he managed to play a lot of promos test pressings and white labels first on the scene.
It was time to expand his passion & talent & soon Dec co -founded MDJ Entertainments with some friends. They began hosting their own parties in small clubs and Venues in Dublin and Kildare. MDJ became many different things associated with Djing in general. They took over a premises and created MDJ Studios, a place for DJ’s to come and network, share music and Ideas. Before social media arrived, this was a real network of like minded people who shared a love for Djing and Music. MDJ wasn’t only about Dance Music it also welcomed Hip Hop Dj’s and Mc’s to do their thing. It became a popular hang out and caught the attention of the film makers within RTE, Ireland’s national broadcaster. They wanted to shoot a day in the life of Dec and MDJ Studios. Dec thought it would be great to showcase some of the DJ’s and Mc’s who came to the studio and to promote these alternative music styles. The documentary was aired on RTE the countries national broadcaster on one of their shows about different topics / projects and alternative lifestyles called Capital D.
The years to come saw Dec back doing what he loved, playing music to people who really appreciated it. This journey lead him to conquer most of the top venues & clubs nationwide including Pygmalion, Radio City, SFX Theatre: Dublin,Temple Theatre Main room & The Crypt,Temple Bar Music Centre ,The Academy ,The Cave ,The Vaults ,The Pint ,Twisted Pepper ,Traffic ,The Bernard Shaw ,Room 19 ,The Lost Society Main room & Basement ,The Mezz ,The Hub ,Tivoli Theatre Dublin – Area 51 Festival – Mystic Festival Ireland,Ballinamore Fringe Festival; Letrim ,Eclipse Festival, Life Festival.
Dec has an infectious energy & skill when in action behind the decks, his ability to fully immerse & connect with his crowd while delivering accurately timed displays of beat juggling, scratching & a multitude of subtle Dj effects ,is inspiring.
Is it any wonder that Djing became his chosen profession with his birth name being Declan Joseph Coleman… DJ is in the name..
It is our great pleasure and honour to announce our next guest DJ Zarko Rebac who will be joining us for his Irish debut this Monday. Although he is new to Dublin we are sure you will be seeing more of him over the coming months.
He has released EPs on Mihaia Popoviciu’s Cyclic Records but also on Monocord Records, Kina Music, and Family Grooves.
Names like Nick Curly, Andrey Pushkarev, Blondish, Mario Aureo, and so on love to play his tracks in their sets.
With an eclectic mix of tunes which encompass the darker spheres of minimalist techno and house, his sets push boundaries, they’re spontaneous, they’re unpredictable.
We owe you this one from few weeks ago. Krissky is a Polish artist and performer based in Ireland. The inspiration for his unique blend of sound comes from genres as diverse as house and techno – Always on a lookout to experiment with different sounds and ideas. Krissky allows diverse influences to help him shape up his tracks, from the deep underground electronic music to the free-form freedom of jazz.
His sound is cinematic and textural, yet extremely direct and relatable, bridging the gaps between dance-friendly tunes and his more experimental side.
Tomislav Suflaj aka Sessiondigger, Croatia
”Music is my all time passion, regardless of the form, style or genre. Electronic music is an important part of my musical heritage. I have started with DJ gigs back in the eighties, as a Club and Radio DJ. Have been holding residency for a few years in some Croatian and Slovenian clubs.
Today I am a non-professional DJ, collector, music lover, guitar player, hifi diy-er, sailor and father of these two girls you were turning your head a few days ago, down the alley. sessiondigger is writing a blog on electronic music.
I do DJ gigs from time to time. As much as I love vinyls, these days I am dealing mostly with digital releases and using Traktor.
Early 2000’s, supported by exceptional team of enthusiastic young people I did editorial for the first Croatian printed magazine dedicated to electronic music, named “techno.hr”.
There is either a good music or the music I am not comfortable with.”
DHD proudly presents DUBOKO Deep, alias DJ Satz, from Zagreb, Croatia. This Underground Croatian DJ has a musical sensibility that immediately caught our attention. We spend hours per day streaming tons of mixes and tracks, and it is hard to find a genuinely emotional mix in this dense tropical forest. In such a context, stumbling upon unexposed quality mixes is a bliss that only happens every once in a while.
DUBOKO ‘s selections are carefully made with a sparkle of emotion and sweetness sprinkled all over, making the sets flow naturally to your pleased ears, with this special touch of feeling that makes the meaningful difference between “yet another ambient mix” and a mix that catches your attention and keeps you really listening to each bit of it.
DUBOKO is very prolific and unstoppable, with a rooted and large musical culture. He has plenty of mixes in stock yet to be delivered.
Stay Tuned
Starting out as a Bass player in the mid 90’s Beta-D played with a number of bands as a session player in his hometown Dublin and also toured in Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East. Always having an interest in electronic music he got his first copy of Reason in 2001 and started experimenting. ‘It was probably due to the fact that I bought The Chemical Brothers – Surrender in 1999 and listened to it on repeat while on tour that year’ that his path to Producing and then DJ’ing was sown. One of the last bands he played live with was the Beat Vultures. “I was playing Bass and running all the sequences from a Powerbook. We had great fun and had a year long Residency with plenty of other gigs in the centre of Dublin but I guess it felt too restrictive for me at the time. I still get asked if I’ve plans to do something similar”
These days Beta-D regularly DJ’s in Dublin with resident gigs every weekend under his own name. He also hosts his ‘Resonate Radio Show’ every Friday on Phever.ie which very recently hit number 5 in Phever’s top 10 most listened to shows of the year. Preferred genre’s are Deep House, Afro House, Tech House, Chill and more.

Dylan Hughes (Melodic, Dublin)
”I was always really into electronic music from a very young age as my dad always listened to it. I grew up listening the likes of Sasha and Digweed, Ritchie hawtin, Steve Bug etc… My music today is very influenced from the progressive moody, melodic sounds I’ve always been into.. I like to try and make my sets a journey as much as possible as I think that track selection is more important then being the most technically gifted DJ. I’ve supported the likes of Weiss, Patrice Baumel and the Drifter”
Every once and a while I come back to the place where it all began; my homeland of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
This time I bring you a real rising talent from the capital of Sarajevo: DJ/Producer Edib D

Originally from Poland, Maciej Pietruczuk currently calls Dublin Ireland home where he is an active DJ in the deep progressive music scene. Through many different sub-genres of house music that Maciej plays he’s able to perfectly find the dance floor rhythm at any party. House music for Maciej is not simply music, but its also his lifestyle – his compassionate vision of world around him.
Right from the early days when he fell in love with the deeper sounds, it motivated him to hone his skill in his private home studio and once he perfected his flawless techniques he shared his sounds with dance floors big and small.
To describe Maciej’s live DJ sets is a difficult task, but to put it into a few words: they are extremely lush with sound letting your body burst with energy and filling your mind with the warmest memories. Every set he serves up an explosive mixture of house, techno and progressive rhythms. Even the most fussy and picky clubbers will have their needs fulfilled through Maciej’s skill behind the decks. His ability to connect to the crowd and the positive feedback he receives is a testament to the ever growing respect he garners as a rising DJ.

“We are like a bunch of dogs squirting on fire hydrants. We poison the groundwater with our toxic piss, marking everything MINE in a ridiculous attempt to survive our deaths. I can’t stop pissing on fire hydrants…I am an animal like any other. Hazel is different. she walks lightly, old man. She walks lightly upon the earth. She knows the truth: We’re as likely to hurt the universe as we are to help it, and we’re not likely to do either.
People will say it’s sad that she leaves a lesser scar, that fewer remember her, that she was loved deeply but not widely. But it’s not sad. It’s triumphant. It’s heroic. Isn’t that the real heroism?
The real heroes anyway aren’t the people doing things; the real heroes are the people NOTICING things, paying attention.”
More than 40k listeners in last 10 months on my SoundCloud page and who knows how many live on Phever Radio Ireland.

In the depth of music you close your eyes. You close your eyes to open your heart. You open your heart to give in to the strength of floating spaces of music. Welcome to the sound of Just Emma. They duo manages to make you drift from reality to a fictional journey into a different world. For more than four years Alex and Saskia have been part of the electronic music scene, spreading their driving, deep, hence melodic and playful sound focusing on one message their music reveals to every single person: love!
While Saskia‘s musical skills developed during early childhood piano lessons, Alex made first contact with electronic music with his “Minimal Lounge“ solo project. Releasing on labels such as Katermukke, Hanse Hertz, Plötzlich Music and Connaisseur Recordings it is their own imprint Underyourskin Records that has been causing a buzz lately and on which Just Emma releases their dark and melodic interpretation of electronic music. Therefore the duo prefers to play the early morning hours to attract the crowd with an ocean of diverse sounds.
Sub One is a pioneer of the Sarajevo underground music scene, influencing the generation of clubbers and clubbing culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the turn of the Millennium.
Visit of the techno-nomads like “Spiral Tribe”, “Desert Storm Sound System” and others to the post-war Sarajevo in mid-nineties left a big mark on him shifting his life focus and love to electronic music.
From the beginning he embraced the Drum Code, Primate, Cocoon, Plus 8, Devil’s Choice -alike Techno on vinyl which influenced his later style of music. In Sarajevo, his residence and party home base, he organized numerous events for the growing tech community and other music enthusiasts for almost a decade.
Involved in Sarajevo electronic music scene from its very beginning in 1996, Sub One started playing under the mentorship of famous Sarajevo DJ Enis Voloder and other members of the “Interactive Music Association” which included both Bosnian and English musicians. This is where he first met the turntables, learned skills and gained deep love for vinyls, synthesizers, drum machines, electronic music culture and started creating his first vinyl collection.
Extensive experience on dj booth, cooperation with local and foreign artists, promotional organisation “Positive Sound”, and successful events at incredible locations (including the devastated ‘Sarajka Mall’ – one of Sarajevo’s symbols from its socialist past); encouraged Sub One for deeper search of a unique sound signature and experiences for his performances.
Tight, harmonic and deep groove makes his style in studio production and mixes very recognisable, while the mystical and emotional atmospheres, tribal elements and hypnotic sound design are combined in creation of ever evolving Sub One music experience.
