You can’t hurt to heal!

I’m Jill Rowe and in this episode Steve Chalke and I share a latte and get to grips with talking about the justice system. We discuss the revolution which is Oasis Restore – a secure school enabling young people to live their best lives, through education well-being & hope. We care for children aged 12-18 who are on remand and sentenced to custody by the courts. We talk about the power of restoration and how hurting to heal never ever works and consider instead the power of asking those who have experienced trauma ‘what happened to them’ rather than jumping to what is wrong with you. And in the end the only thing that will bring restoration to any of us is relentless love. We hope this episode brings you a fresh glimpse of the power of restoration.
