David Shi, the author of the recently-released book "Spirit Voices", is a shamanic worker and folk magic practitioner who primarily engages in traditional North Asian forms of shamanism. He is primarily of Manchurian descent, but can also trace ancestry to Mongolian, Chinese, Korean, as well as a little Tungus Siberian and ancient Central Asian Turkic heritage as well. Raised in a household that incorporated both Southeast Siberian and North Chinese practices, David has dedicated his spare time to the study of the spiritual traditions of his ancestors and of greater Eurasia. Recognized as a sagaasha/ongodtengertei, a future shaman prior to initiation, among both Mongolian and Korean shamans, David’s practices are deeply rooted in spirit work in which ancestral spirits and land spirits are called to empower all workings. David’s readings incorporate a combination of Tarot, Bones, Jaw-harp, as well as Mongolian stone divination (known as Kumalak in Turkic Central Asia).

As the daughter of an immigrant raised with one foot in two worlds, and a person drawn to all things mystical and strange, Sara draws on her cultural heritage and religious experiences, blending them with the fantasy of her work. Her writing is an attempt to explain the world she sees, deliver the insight she gathers, and discover how all the world's pieces fit together.

Come Brittney and me as we talk about the strength of the people of the African Diaspora and how sometimes spiders can carry leopards.
(Note: The free people of Jamaica were the "Maroons" not the Marooners and it was King Alfonso not King Frederick, sorry!)
Brittney is the creator and owner of Lightwork by Brittney. She is an empathic intuitive who was called to live her truth in 2015. After years of ignoring the calling, a multitude of life altering events led her to finally surrender to journeying her path. She decided, in 2020, to share what was gifted to her by the Divine. What first started as making smudge bundles for herself, family and friends quickly became more as she also peeled back more layers of herself. She believes that everyone has the ability to unlock their God given purpose, as everyone possesses them. With strong roots in her Caribbean/ Hispanic lineage, she has always been surrounded by all things in a spiritual sense.
