Physiotherapy is widely recognised in human medicine as being effective in the treatment and rehabilitation of many different conditions and injuries, including sports injuries, muscle and ligamentous injuries, arthritis, neck and back pain and following fractures or surgery.
Lindsey Connell has many years of experience treating both musculo-skeletal and neuromuscular conditions in people and commenced treating animals in 1999. She completed her post graduate Masters in Animal Studies (Animal Physiotherapy) at the University of Queensland in 2004.
Since the completion of her Masters, she has been involved in teaching the animal physiotherapy component of the Masters in Animal Studies (Animal Physiotherapy) Course and has also presented at several Veterinary, Veterinary Nurse and Physiotherapy conferences.
In 2012 she was an invited speaker at the 7th International Symposium on Veterinary rehabilitation and Physical therapy in Vienna, Austria.
Lindsey runs an established small animal practice in Brisbane Australia, consulting from Veterinary Specialist Services, a ‘state of the art’ specialist clinic in Underwood, Brisbane. Australia
