Elven History: From Arlathan to Present

In this week's episode, Shelby and Austin dig into the history of Thedas' pointy ear residents.--perhaps the first residents on the continent.

Throughout all three Dragon Age games, we uncover more and more history from the elven past. We even get to spend time in the Dales--the second elven homeland--in Dragon Age Inquisition. But what is the full history of the elven people? How did they go from one, united, virtually immortal people to the fractured, vastly different groups of city elves and Dalish that exist today?

We'll take a deep dive into these questions and more as we discuss elven history. We cover the rise and fall of Arlathan to the elves in the Dales to modern elves.
