This week’s guest is Jonathan Pinson - an award-winning drummer and band leader. He’s played with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Mark Turner and so many others…he has a Masters in music from UCLA via the very prestigious Thelonius Munk Institute of Jazz Performance. He is currently a professor at California Institute of the Arts and the leader of his own band, Boom Clap. He’s an incredible musician and it was an honor to have him on the show. I hope you enjoy the 5 records that’s helped shape Jonathon Pinson into the drummer he is today. Cheers!
