The moment we've all been waiting for!! After M. Night Shyamalan's live action adaptation it was hard for anyone not to be skeptical about what Netflix was about to do. Well we can easily say it's better than his movie, and we know that's not a very high bar. This show had its highs and lows for sure, but join us for this review as we talk about what we liked and disliked from each episode!

We recently had the opportunity to ask the cast of Netflix's Avatar the Last Airbender a few questions! The original animated show has meant so much to my brother and I over the years and we were extremely grateful to get to chat with the cast as we prepare for the live action adaptation. But when it comes to making a film, there are truly so many teams and departments that make it happen. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! The Film Bros are back for this Halloween special episode. The horror genre has given us some of the best movies ever to be put on screen, yet the recognition they get from the Academy Awards is little to none. Why is that? In today's episode we go over the 6 horror films that have been nominated for best picture at the Academy Awards and decide if it should've won that year. We give our Oscar snubs in the horror genre, whether it be they didn't win or failed to even receive a nomination! To end the episode off we give our greatest horror franchise ever!

I first posted our top 10 movies of 2022 back in early January. As we are halfway through 2023, I've seen quite a handful of 2022 movies that were amazing! It was only right that I give a revised top 10 movies of 2022 list! 

Before "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" hits theaters next week, we thought it would be the perfect time to revisit "Into the Spider-Verse." This movie has really changed the game when it comes to Hollywood animated feature films. It was unlike anything we had seen yet and it wasn't an easy task to pull off.  When we talk about the greatest Spider-Man movie ever, "Into the Spider-Verse" sits at the very top for me! Would you agree?  

Clearly I'm no Twilight expert; that's why Sabel from sabelsstudio joins us for the episode of Twilight! In an age of Hollywood where we are getting reboot after reboot, you'd think they would focus on rebooting old material. Here here are only 11 years after the final Twilight movie, Lionsgate announced they will be rebooting Twilight and making it into a TV series. However, do we dare say this reboot is necessary? Star Wars and Marvel have more than enough projects coming out over the next five years, but which one are you more excited for? Season 3 of the Mandalorian had a high expectations to maintain after the first two seasons made the case that this was going to be the show to save live action Star Wars. It's no secret that ever since Disney took over Star Wars, the live actions have been hit or miss with the fans. But the Mandalorian was not that case. In this episode we'll dive into the positives and negatives of each episode, our thoughts on the finale, and why this season felt like a step down from the others! What did you think of the Mandalorian season 3?

It feels so good to be back! Sorry for the lack of episodes lately but yes, I was in Europe for almost two weeks. While we have a lot of movies and shows to catch up on, this episode will mainly go over my amazing trip to Spain and Portugal, the beautiful landmarks we visited, the incredible food we tried, and the culture shock compared to America! Disney and the Rock announce a live action Moana is in the works, HBO set to reboot a Harry Potter TV series, and much more! 

If you're in the restaurant industry...you've seen this movie. If you haven't, you need to! Today's episode we revisit the 2005 classic "Waiting" that has garnished a cult following over the years. As current servers in the restaurant industry we go over scenes and talk about how true they are even today or if they are exaggerated. Eventually this episode may or may not become just a rant about our jobs as severs! 

This Ghostface is unlike anything we've seen before! Well our Scream marathon has led us to Scream 6, and it is getting all the praise and earnings, as it is had the biggest opening weekend at the box office in the entire Scream franchise! BUT is it as good as they say? As great of an installment Scream 6 was, it's far from perfect. Hey, no Scream is perfect besides the first one obviously. Come listen to my pros and cons of Scream 6 and where it falls in my ranking of the Scream franchise. No matter what you think of this movie, it is safe to say Scream has been one of, if not the most consistent horror franchises ever! I adore this franchise and love to see it thriving more than ever! 

The most prestigious night in Hollywood is almost here and it's time to share who we think is going to win! In this episode we go over all the major categories, the nominees, and who we think will win the Academy Award. We will being sharing some Oscar nominee snubs, as there have been plenty this year! Either way, it is quite the line up of films for this years Award show and we can't wait for March 12! It wasn't easy, but we made it through Velma! How is this show getting a season 2? Well it turns out this show is so bad that everyone is watching it, viewership is up! Today’s the day! I’m officially executive producing my first independent feature film! After months of planning, it’s finally happening. The film is called Don’t Trip, a horror comedy written and directed by Alex Kugelman about a young screenwriter who falls into a dangerous relationship when he befriends a powerful producer’s eccentric son in order to sell his script. It explores the gritty underbelly of show business and examines how power dynamics and nepotism affect those trying to break into the industry. Being an independent film, it is going to be independently funded and we need everyone’s help! We have launched a Kickstarter campaign today for funding; a public benefit corporation that maintains a global crowdfunding focused on creativity. People like YouTuber Chris Stuckmann have been able to raise funds through Kickstarter for his directorial debut! Many artists have been able to make their first film through Kickstarter. Any donations are greatly appreciated; even sharing this message would be just as much appreciated! I look forward to this new opportunity in this industry and hope you are just excited as I am. I can’t wait to bring you all this film along with Alex and our amazing team! 

"Velma" has been getting a lot of attention, and not for the right reasons. But is it really as bad as people say? Garrett and I dive into our thoughts about the first four episodes; what this show is doing wrong, what this show could be doing right, but yeah...it's pretty bad so far. While 2022 may have been hit or miss with movies, there's no denying that 2022 was an amazing year for TV. No, I did not see every single show this year so not everyone's favorite TV show will be on this list...but here's my top 5 TV shows this year from what I watched!

Is Avatar: The Way of Water better than Avatar 1? It's been 13 years since the original and a lot of time and money has gone into this James Cameron fantasy world. Now the most expensive movie ever made, can it live up to the hype? What direction is James Cameron giving us for the world building of Pandora? No matter if you liked or didn't like this movie though...this is a movie you must experience in IMAX 3D at the theaters! 

Christmas is around the corner and it's time for the festivities to begin! In this bonus episode Garrett and I have a Christmas movie draft! Which team do you think won? What would be your first Christmas movie pick? 

With Wakanda Forever, phase 4 has officially concluded and it's time to rank it! Movies, TV shows, specials, you name it! This phase was jam packed with content, it's almost hard to believe we got all of this in under two years. Phase 4 definitely had it's ups and downs but there were a lot of great things to come out of it. Dive into our ranking with us!  

Happy Thanksgiving! We figured to show some love to this holiday since it seems like it's always in the shadows of Christmas. We talk about movies and TV shows that always put us in the mood for Thanksgiving, ranking of Thanksgiving side dishes, Thanksgiving traditions, and fun Thanksgiving facts to top it off. Will Wakanda Forever make you cry? The answer is yes. Easily one of the most emotional but beautiful movies in the superhero genre. Wakanda Forever went through a lot of adversity during it's production. Of course the biggest question was how would they handle the untimely passing of Chadwick Boseman. And with Namor being the first Indigenous, Latin America hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Panther Wakanda Forever was going to have a tall task to accomplish, but did they ever! 

Garrett finally saw Black Adam and as you can guess from the episode title, he was not too happy with it. Listen to his rant and frustration with this movie and the DCEU moving forward. If you haven't seen Black Adam yet, SPOILER WARNING in effect. What did you think of this film? 

Blake's Takes first Halloween special is here! We have been waiting for spooky season all year and are excited to talk all about all the movies we've watched during this Halloween season! Our favorite horror movies, our least favorite, what we are dressing up as for Halloween, and to end the episode off we have a horror villain draft! Get ready for Halloween with this episode! 

Who doesn't love to get scared during this time of year? Halloween Horror Nights has easily become my favorite seasonal event over the last few years! Listen to our review of all of the scare houses, scare zones, shows, food and drinks at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando this year! While this may not be our typical review on a movie or tv show, Halloween Horror Nights tells a story of its own and the attention to detail is incredible! 

After many projects have fallen through for the character of She-Hulk over the last 30 years, she finally gets her own tv show! And let's just say, it does not stick to your typical MCU formula! This show offered many different things, but one thing is for certain; Tatiana Maslany was born to play She-Hulk! Happy Halloween Ends Day! In honor of the final Halloween film in this latest trilogy releasing, I figured I would give you my ranking of all the Halloween movies (not including Halloween Ends). Over the years the Halloween franchise has given us ups and downs but it seems every movie has reeled in their own group of Stans! What's your favorite Halloween movie?

Yes I know, how did it take Garrett to finish one of the greatest shows of all time? We have that question answered for you in this Breaking Bad review! We also discuss it's critically acclaimed spin-off "Better Call Saul" as well! This is a universe that has offered us some of the best television in this history of entertainment!  

Can't believe we haven't done it yet, but here it is! We rank all of the films within the Star Wars Universe! Star Wars has given us some duds, and it has given us some masterpieces! What would come out on top as #1 for you? 

After his directorial debut of "Get Out," Jordan Peele has shown as that he is a director that has earned his place in Hollywood. From comedy sketches on Key and Peele, to unsettling horror films, Jordan's Peele 180 of a career has been one of the most fascinating in the business. His third movie "NOPE" shows us how big his vision is! 

The Boys is one of the most polarizing shows out right now, and season 3 just solidified it's place among the greats. Every episode this season had you reeled in like no other. We discuss the second half of this season, including Herogasm and that wild finale! Jensen Ackles performance as "Soldier Boy" might've been the most perfect addition we could've had. Will Soldier Boy return? Has Ryan completely fallen off the deep end with Homelander? A lot of questions leading into season 4!

Happy Thorsday! The first, fourth solo installment in the MCU! Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor and stronger than ever...I mean literally he is huge! Taika Waititi revamped the character of Thor for Ragnarok and we all loved it, but are they taking it too far now? It seems like this film is being met with mixed emotions among MCU fans. We get an amazing performance from Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher but did he get enough screen time? How does this movie compare to the other phase 4 projects we've gotten so far? And how much is Disney controlling of Marvel right now? We discuss all of this in our review! 

One word to describe this season of Stranger Things...EPIC! All four of these stories that we've been following this whole season finally come together and it is one wild ride. Not only was it epic, but emotional as well! Is this Stranger Things best season yet? We discuss our favorite moments and favorite characters during this two episode finale. We're only through part 1?! Wow, this season of Stranger Things has already out done itself and we still have four more hours of story left with part 2 coming out in July. After having to wait three years since season 3, it's definitely been worth it. We discuss what they've done differently so far with this season that makes it as amazing as it is! An amazing sequel worthy of the original and even better! This movie is fun, emotional, visually beautiful and sounds amazing, an overall badass film!

Well, it's finally here....it took six years to get a Doctor Strange sequel and it had a lot of expectations to meet, especially after Spider-Man: No Way Home! But, you might be surprised what we have to say about the expectations and hype surrounding this film. Phase 4 has been a wild ride into the multiverse and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon! 

With most likely Jim Carrey retiring from acting, we go over our top five Jim Carrey movies! As sad as it is that we probably won't be seeing him in upcoming movies anymore, we can't forget to take the time to appreciate all the amazing characters and films he's given us!
