Dune Movie Review #3: Arrival on Arrakis (Spoiler Discussion)

On this week's show we continue our scene-by-scene Dune: Part One breakdown, picking up from after the Gom Jabbar test (as covered last week). From the 29-minute mark of the movie, we explore revelations about the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood and the symbolism in Paul's last moments on Caladan, where he lived for his first 15 years. 

As House Atreides arrive to take over Arrakis, there's so much happening—both in conversations and the visual spectacle. There's also the religious aspect of this story and we dive deep into the native peoples' beliefs and how the powers of the Imperium are involved in these messianic myths. Like previous episodes in this movie review sub-series, the discussion contains spoilers.
