For this holiday recording of the Dune Talk show, we're happy to present an exclusive interview with one of the actors you've seen in Dune: Part One. Richard Carter, who plays Harkonnen Trooper #2, offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at shooting the movie at Origo Studios in Budapest, Hungary.
You'd be surprised by just how much effort went into filming this scene where the Harkonnen soldiers kidnap Paul Atreides and Lady Jessica. Richard, piloting the ornithopter, shares his experience working on the ultra-realistic sets of Dune, together with the truly passionate and detail-oriented Denis Villeneuve. How was the audition process? How was it like to act together with stars Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson? We cover all of that on this week's episode.
