welcome to the podcast of various electronic arts back here at the "ESOA Podcast".
Today with a great artist from Iceland, Ohm is my guest today.
And once again I'm very happy about that, because this is another exceptional artist who can look back on a long musical history.
He has been active since the 90s and can therefore look back on a lot of creativity not only as a DJ but also as a producer. First success came very quickly in the course of his debut, which he released in collaboration with another Icelandic legend EXOS on one of the most inspiring techno labels of the past, here we are talking about "Force Inc".
Over the years, many more releases piled up on renowned labels such as Thule Records, Rawax, Kontakt, Solid Groove, Taped Artifact, Ranges, Vade mecum ,
Vuo records and AE Recordings, as well as AE recordings Ltd, which he runs together with Octal Industries and Thor from Thule Records.
Currently he also runs his own label "OHM Series".
Ohm now lives in Copenhagen and plays the "Culture Box" here quite often, but you can also see and hear
him play all over Europe, if not all over the world.
He also runs two shows on the online platform Timeline Musik where he presents Danish artists on the one hand and promos from his friends on the other.
He himself calls his sound tried and tested and visionary, and I'm happy to let that stand. For me he is clearly an artist of Dub Techno.
