In their second episode, the 'Eurovision Queens' - Andy & Ryan - celebrate some of the women of Eurovision, selecting an array of powerful vocalists and trendy (for the time) girl groups.
As usual, the pair choose songs from different ages of the contest, a UK entry, a song that came second, and another that should have made it through national selection. And then there’s the Randomiser which this week manages to stop the show from being an all-female sweep!
Among this episode’s performers are the legendary Charlotte Perrelli, UK girl group Precious whose 1999 album is a must listen, and the wonderful Mamas from Sweden who were strong contenders in the Eurovision year that never was.
A Message from Andy & Ryan: As we're still just getting started, we would be hugely grateful if you could rate the podcast on iTunes, and like and share our content on Twitter and Instagram. If you'd like to suggest a song for a future episode (any category bar 'The Randomiser') then tweet us or send us an email. Thank you! Xx
