Eurovision Radio International – The Ultimate Eurovision Experience
Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 0059 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on SWITCH Radio Essex in the United Kingdom live on Wednesday evenings from 1900 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.

Eurovision Spotlight - The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - National Final Season: Sweden will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 which will be the 68th contest in its history coming once again from the Malmoe Arena, Malmoe, Sweden on 07 & 09 May 2024 for the two Semi Finals and the Grand Final scheduled for Saturday 11 May 2024. Many participating countries to the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 are holding their selection shows across Europe and each week on Radio International we take a look at the ongoing selection processes and play some of the highlights from the National Finals and songs that actually will be selected to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmoe.
The Luxembourg Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - Interview with CHAiLD (Luxembourg National Final 2024): For the first time since 1993, Luxembourg returns to the Eurovision Song Contest. The National Final in Luxembourg - The Luxembourg Song Contest 2024 is scheduled to take place on 27 Jan 2024 from the Rockhal in Esch sur Alzette with eight acts battling it out for the ticket to Malmoe in Sweden where the 68th Eurovision Song Contest will be staged on May 07, 09 and 11, following the victory of Loreen from Sweden in 2023 with the song "Tattoo".
Luxembourg has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest thirty-seven times since debuting in its first edition of 1956. The country has won the contest on five occasions: in 1961 with "Nous les amoureux" performed by Jean-Claude Pascal, in 1965 with "Poupée de cire, poupée de son" performed by France Gall, in 1972 with "Après toi" performed by Vicky Leandros, in 1973 with "Tu te reconnaîtras" performed by Anne-Marie David, and finally in 1983 with "Si la vie est cadeau" performed by Corinne Hermès. After a poor result in 1993, Luxembourg was relegated from the 1994 contest in accordance with the new rules implemented at the time, and has since opted to be absent from the event.
Eurovision Winner Vicky Leandros who won for Luxembourg in 1972 with the song "Apres-toi" will be guest during the The Luxembourg Song Contest 2024.
A total of 459 entries were submitted to RTL out of which eight acts will be competing in the The Luxembourg Song Contest 2024. Radio International will be introducing the songs to the listeners on the show this week including a live interview with one of the contestants - CHAiLD who performs the song "Hold on". Eurovision 2024 - Spain: The Beniorm Fest 2024 (Part 2): Spain decides their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 through the Benidorm Fest 2024. 16 acts are being distributed into two Semi Finals and a Grand Final to decide the winner and Spain's Representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Last week on the show Javier looked at the first eight songs and this week in the second hour Javier will introduce the remaining eight songs in the Benidorm Fest 2024. Radio International's Salman and Rafia, like last year, will be in Benidorm to conduct interviews with the singers which we will air on Radio International upon their return.
