Her husband and high school sweetheart was found dead after he was crushed under a 300 lb piece of metal (January 3, 2012). Although he was miraculously resuscitated, she was given no real hope for a recovery. Against all odds, not only has Doug survived death and the brain injury, he is also far exceeding medical expectations. He’s proving the medical community wrong and that God is still in the miracle business. Holding on to hope and standing in faith, Tammy contended for his life after hearing what she understood to be an audible voice telling her, “This will be the hardest journey of your life, but if you trust me, Doug will be okay.”
Tammy shares openly:
1 Peter 1:6-7 "In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." Tammy and Doug reside in beautiful Missoula, Montana. Tammy is an author and speaker and is passionate about encouraging others as a Life Coach. Loved this update from her website: "When I am not rewiring the brain, coaching, or speaking, I can be found in the kitchen trying out the latest recipe I have discovered or hiking/cross country skiing in the woods with my dogs, Lark, a Border Collie and Sidney, an Australian Shepherd. Doug and I love to float the river or ride our recumbent bikes together when the opportunity presents itself. We are optimistic Doug will be able to resume skiing in some fashion. We continue to seek out new adventures, and we love to share our miracle story of hope and healing with others." More about Tammy Dove (contact or book order): https://www.tammydove.com/
