Is it possible to transform your entire life, even when it seems so incredibly dark? Our guest today is the perfect example of showing that it most certainly is.
Brandon Stutzman dealt with homelessness, depression, and a rough childhood during the early years of his life. But through taking control of his mind, as well as finding passion through ultra running, he was able to turn it all around. And now, he’s gearing up to attempt his first ever 100-mile race, along with completing 1,000 pull-ups throughout the attempt, all self-supported. And he’s raising money for the homeless shelter he was a part of when he was growing up. Truly incredible!
Brandon is also a content creator and videographer who has shot content for tons of ultrarunners around the country. He even directed and produced his own documentary called “For the Kids” which is available on YouTube, and in the link below.
In this episode, Brandon discusses why ultrarunning has played such a huge role in his transformation, tools that he uses to level up his own mindset, and how to bounce back from the dark points in your life (whether it be during an ultra or in your day-to-day life).
