What does it take to prepare for one of the most competitive 100k races while also being a father, partner, and running a business? Today we speak with the guy who is making all of those things happen and is one of the nicest athletes in the ultra community: Jacob Puzey! This is Jacob's second time on the show.
Jacob Puzey is a professional ultrarunner for Craft based out of Canada, and he is also a Director at 5 Peaks Trail Running Series. Jacob has had top finishes at many races, including a 6th place male finish at Javelina Jundred in 2021.
In this episode, Jacob breaks down how he balances family, training, and a busy work schedule, how he is approaching his upcoming race at Black Canyon 100k, and his mindset when it comes to pacing an ultra.
Huge thank you to Jacob for coming on the show!
