Pierce Showe is an ultraendurance athlete who has completed four 100 mile races, an ultraman triathlon, Ironman races, and most recently, the Tahoe 200 ultramarathon. He is also heading into his second 200-miler only a few weeks after, as he is lining up to chase the Triple Crown of 200s.
But even though Pierce has accomplished a ton of ultras at a young age, he actually had no background in endurance sports before diving into the space. In fact, it was something that he worked hard towards, set his mind to, and build his mindset to be able to handle.
And in this episode, Pierce shares how he was able to build the confidence in himself to take on ultras, stories from his epic Tahoe 200 race, and how faith plays a huge role in his ability to do hard things.
Huge thank you to Pierce for coming on the show!
