Chris talks about the difficult task of having to leave a band he founded, being comfortable (or not) in your own skin, discipline & commitment, being tied up to the chimney on his roof of his house - by his own dad… Bob Rock’s influence on him… his cool vintage gear, being a dad, and more. VERYreal and frank conversation with a powerful player, who’s a master of playing different styles of music:
Chris started playing professionally while still a teenager in New York City. First with hardcore band Orange 9mm, then with alternative metal band Helmet. From here, he joined Gavin Rossdale and Bush and has been with them for 18 years. Along the way, he’s also managed to work with Peter Green, Katy Perry and Blur.
