A conversation with Ames Laboratory’s Mark Gordon on the GAMESS project Mark Gordon, Ames Laboratory Associate and Distinguished Professor at Iowa State University, spoke with Exascale Computing Project (ECP) Communications at SC17 in Denver. Gordon is the principal investigator for the ECP project called General Atomic and Molecular Electronic Structure System (GAMESS), which is developing methods for computational chemistry.
