simone barbes or virtue (1980) / viva erotica (1996) returning champion ryan swen ( @swen_ryan )joins us to discuss two films that look at one of our most evergreen topics: the erotic arts. neither of these films are pornographic, instead we have an arthouse film and a meta comedy about filmmaking. this was a juicy double feature of deep cuts. ++ abnormal family, i flunked but..., japon, j. edgar, the bench of desolation, a simple event, mystic river & bijomaru's famous sword on a supersized edition of malcolm in the middle. warning for audiophiles and scaredy cats, there are 4 or 5 times where ryan's audio sounds like he is possessed by a demon of podcasting. i'm sorry, otherwise this was a good one.
