First, Patches shared and Guardian article about Steven Soderbergh bemoaning the state of current “movies for adults” and we wonder if it might not be a little overblown (check out the article here). Then, Katey updates the boys on the new Oscar voting rules (and the likely non-enforcement) before the guys talk about Sinners. Ryan Coogler’s movie is making money but is it dun-dun-dun the end of the studio system…somehow?
