This is kind of a slow burn episode where we gradually realize what we thought was a well-written episode may not have been so well-written after all. Today we find ourselves TRAPPED in a discussion of 9-1-1 season 1 episode 9, Trapped. I don't know if you picked up on this, but this episode is actually all about being trapped. Several characters get into situations in which they are, either physically, metaphorically, or both, trapped. They also play the song Trapped by Bruce Springsteen just to further emphasize that the story is about being trapped.
