Forge the Narrative – Warhammer 40k Podcast
Today we talk about the new Kill Team expansion Rogue Trader, releasing this weekend. The figures are great. The game is taking off like wild fire and this expansion gives you another way to play it. The box set also comes with rules on how to include the figures in your games of Warhammer 40,000.
Hey all,
These models in the Kill Team expansion are nuts! Absolutely off the chain beautiful. While I don’t think we’ll see these guys make an appearance in regular competitive 40k games they seem to be pretty stout in Kill Team.
Later in the show we chat about a debate going on in ‘competitive groups’ on if Army Lists should be required to be published, when they should be published or if they should be published at all. This originated from a discussion our Canadian Correspondent Val H had in the BCP Facebook group.
Our opinion is a resounding YES. More information about the game is better. It leads to more hype, greater exposure to people that may have no idea where you start with their list, better community engagement, etc. It’s all good news and the more the better.
The hobby segment is about contrast on your figures. We talk about why you need it, how to get it, and when you might actually be battling against yourself with some of your current painting habits.
Keep your eyes peeled on our YouTube channel. More video battle reports are coming soon!

Forge the Narrative is mostly a Warhammer 40k Podcast. Each episode is about an hour long. This ideally gives you something neat to listen to on your way to work, or on the way back home. Maybe you can even listen while you are painting or modeling!
