It isn't long until Mr.Larabee swindles everyone, but most importantly Joe Kagan, out of their fair price of wheat. A confrontation between Jonathan Garvey has Mr. Larabee seeking some Liquid Courage to retaliate. However, a chain of events has Mr. Larabee apprehended and charged with Assault and Battery as well as the felony of Barn Burning.
