After some reluctance from Caroline and some bad advice from Mr. Edwards, Charles and Laura are off on a Father-Daughter weekend hunting trip. From leaving loaded weapons out in the open, being dragged along the forest ground, having the horse fall down a cliff side, and so much more this weekend is anything but pleasant for Half Pint. With the help of Big Daddy Shelby, who hasn't left the area around the cabin for a number of years because of his blindness, these two head out to fetch help.  Will Laura reconsider ever going on another Father-Daughter Hunting trip?  Will Big Daddy Shelby ever make it beyond the woods and visit the world?  Who brings a Doctor to the scene and doesn't bother to introduce him to ANYONE?
