 Seeing an opportunity to help improve their own well-being, at the cost of of others, Caleb Hodgekiss makes an attempt to swindle the citizens of Walnut Grove. Through his trickery he manages to develop relationships with some of the residents of the area. And it's starting to make him reconsider his actions.  When a small detail is discovered by Big Sister Mary she inevitably confronts him leading Caleb to make a final choice in regards to himself, the people of Walnut Grove and the recipients of all the donated goods. What is Reverend Alden actually sick with and should he even be traveling? Where has Laura been this entire episode? Will we ever get to see more of Maddie Bjornenson?
