It's report card time on the prairie and Mary is less than happy with her academic achievements.   A late night study session leads to a surprise realization that has Charles and Mary heading to Mankato for help.  While The Ingallas family is showering their scholar with compliments, the student body, lead by Nellie and Willie, are chanting the same insult over and over. It's not until Mary has a vision of the what the future could be, does she decide to accept her new designation and show off the power of her Four Eyes.
