Mentions of diversity, equity and inclusion — sometimes shortened to “DEI” — on S&P 500 earnings calls have increased 658% just since 2018. What’s more, nearly nine in 10 Fortune 100 companies list equity as one of their corporate values. We’re making progress on this topic, which is critical to both business and our society, but we’ve got a long way to go.
