How many times have you said to yourself, “I’d love to have the freedom to record my music where and when I want, but won’t it just sound amateur if I do it myself?” It’s a common thought for many musicians that can leave you feeling totally reliant on other people to get your music out of your head and into the world.
But inside this episode of Girls Twiddling Knobs, Isobel speaks to musician Flaming June, AKA Louise Eatock, about the incredible journey she’s been on learning to record and produce her music from home. It’s one that’s led Louise releasing her first self-produced album, Hope In A Jar, which has since won an award and wider critical acclaim. And as she shares inside, Louise has now properly got the recording and production bug!
Girls Twiddling Knobs is hosted and produced by Isobel Anderson with production support from Jade Bailey and Francesca O’Connor and is a Female DIY Musician Production.
