In this episode, we discuss the process of designing a university course in Global Health and Sustainable Development, together with Helena Frielingsdorf Lundqvist, a psychiatrist with a PhD in neurobiology who is also a resident in social medicine and the chair of the SLS committee of global health. Five years ago Helena and a small group of global health enthusiasts started lobbying for a course in Global Health and Sustainable Development to be offered to medical students at Linköping University in Sweden and it was launched earlier this year. The course is a collaborative elective course between Linköping and Moi University in Eldoret in Kenya.
Interviewers were Lotta Velin and Hedda Ottesson, both junior doctors in Sweden.
